Arcade Deals

In Relation To Merchendise, I have found something interesting out.

I spent Ten Dollars (10.00) in the Main arcade last Tuesday. Playing the Elvis pushie game, I won over 1000 tickets. When I went to the redempetion counter, I decided to get the glasses in the showcase nearest to the ticket eaters. I got 3 cups and 1 shotglass at 250 tickets each. I looked at the prices on the bottom of all the cups, 4.95. I spent 10.00 and got 20.00 worth of merchendice.

I just felt like telling people that, maybe other people can do the same...

cedarpointlover,

What is the "Elvis pushie game"? Sounds like you get a good ticket return for your investment.

My kids love winning tickets at the Arcade and redeeming them for prizes.

Although it seems like the vast majority of 'prizes' offered are things that didn't sell very well in the gift shops last year.

I was also wondering what the pushi game was? If it's like the game I'm thinking of, then yeah, you'd get a lot of tickets from it!

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.

I don't play those kinds of games myself. I play DDR and I consider it a good deal. I get crowds and applause commonly.

When I go and play that, my friend who I go with all the time plays Skee-ball and he has collected thousands of tickets.

The "pushie" is the game you drop a quarter or token into, and there are about a million already in the game... There is a arm moving back and forth, and you try to drop your coin, so that when the arm is back, it will drop others. The more you drop, the more you win. A Macromedia flash version is available to play on the net for free at http://www.gamepub.com/gamepub/online/games/play.do?gameid=57

You got a $1.50 worth of merchandise. Their cost and what they sticker stuff for is totally not in the same ballpark.

The value of the items is quite low, however he did get a much better deal than he would have if he had bought them directly from one of the gift shops.

So does the "Quarter Pushie" game have the best ticket payout per quarter invested?
depends on your Luck/Skill. The Wheel of Fortune game is my favorite at Dave & Busters. Great payouts if you can get the timing down right.

Forget the tickets cause they price all their prizes too high. The metal air hockey is by far the best game in the arcade.

CP is the place to be!

How can you call yourself a Cedar Point fan and not have played Skeeball?

SKEE BALL!

Play it everytime, I'm around the Gemini Midway- those are the only games worth the time. I find that most of the skee-ball games are broke in the coliseum arcade.

The trick to it is you have to bounce the ball off the side by the second to last screw. (My little secret) You can get a medium prize every-time. ;)

Shhhhh....
