Aquarium

Has anyone else heard the rumor that they are going to tear down the Aquarium? Could it be the place to put either Chaos or Troika? I beleive it would be a good move to tear the thing down. Out with the old in with the new? Just wondering.

They removed the old aquarium last year.

Sorry Im talking about the pool where the diving team is now.

As far as I know the aquarium/stadium isn't going anywhere. So it's going to be there next year. They already have the area's for Chaos and Trokis started..

Cedarpoint will be using aquarium next year,they hired a new high dive team!

It is not, and never was an aquarium. Aquariums are places you have sea life in water on display. The aquarium spent its last years as a video arcade before being demolished last fall. The "Aquatic Stadium" is, and always has been a show venue.

There is an aquarium portion to the "Aquatic Stadium". Below the stadium is an aquarium viewing area which was originally made to get a closer view of the dolphins which used to be showcased in that Stadium. Which would have made it an area "with sea life in water on display". Whether the dolphins were performing or not, that portion of the "Aquatic Stadium" IS in fact an aquarium.

Uhm, okay. If you'll recall a ride at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom that originally opened as "Twisted Sisters" was renamed to "Twisted Twins" due to a threat of lawsuit by the rock group Twisted Sister.

If you believe Cedar Fair would set themselves up for this, then more power to you.

You're missing the point... the "aquarium" was torn down. It doesn't exist anymore, so when you talk about the "aquarium," no one knows what you're talking about.

I am sure Turnpike is talking about the viewing windows directly below the seating for the stadium. I used to love watching the Dolphins perform from that vantage point.

I sure miss those dolphins.

Yes! Thank you Chief Wahoo! I am refering to the viewing windows directly below the seating for the stadium as the aquarium portion on the Aquatic Stadium. This is where the dolphins used to be viewed by the public for a closer view.
