Appearance?

I don't know what I want. This is the first time I actually thought about it. Forever I have been reading what you all have to say, but I've never giving it any thought. Weird. I want to have fun. But I do think that it will be a coaster.

Jeff, If I remember right, thats what Sandor Kernacs called Xcellerator at the Q&A at Knotts Coaster Solace.

I agree with CPcyclone that would be an awesome ride.
Im not expecting much and I don't think we will see much. Maybe some sort of new Chance or Huss ride, or maybe just one of Huss's "giant" flat rides like a Giant Top Spin or Frisbee, but of course, Cedar Point could use an International Airport.....
WOW! I didn't realize Intamin made so many type of coasters. I never knew they made standup, and a 4-accross inverted! Maybe we will see something even MORE revolutionary!

Nor did I, but I love Intamin coasters! All the ones I've been on have been great!
I think that whatever it is it will be an Intamin coaster, just because CP has had their last 2 coasters designed by intamin. I would like to see an Xcelerator type coaster with red track and black supports. Dont know a good name though
I think we will be very suprised, cause this year sucked. They need to redeem themselves. Wicked Twister, what a piece!!
intamin is good...makes great coasters...But i still like B&M better...i think they make better coasters and alot more stable coasters in the way that they aren't down as much as intamin coasters and that they run smoothly and have a clean safety record...and i like their designs their types of coasters that they have...Personally i would like to see something new from B&M at cedar point.

Welcome to New York City

CP Jigga, or maybe something old from B&M like a dive machine?
Yeah, Wicked Twister, what a piece of crap!

(sigh)......................................

Why can't we just be happy with this year's awesome new ride?

My 2 cents: I just don't see CP getting a huge new coaster. They just built a coaster. I say flat ride or water ride. (I won't be mad if the get a coaster though!)

Whatever they are building it is going to be either very pleaseing or dissappointing.(I admit it I was a little dissappointed with WT simply becasue(to me anyway)It does not seem like the same type of high quality coaster that CP usually builds(save for a few cause not every coaster there is really great although they are still good).

I'm 6'4" and have broad shoulders, so ill let ya know if im happy with it, if i am able to ride. I'll be mad if i can't, seeing a ride that i want to ride but i cant ride just because im tall and have wide shoulders :( I don't know that yet, so ill just keep my fingers crossed. I'll try some of the techniques that were listed in some previous posts. For Raptor and Mantis i sit/stand, restraint down, buckle fastened, no problem whatsoever, slack even left in the belt. We will see if the "coaster gods" are with me when i go.

I'm 6'4" with broad shoulders as well, and I had no trouble at all fitting in WT. I was extremely comfortable. Don't worry about it.
I'm 6'2 and am kind of fat and had little probs fitting into WT.

Intamin Standups are okay.... Moved to Houston last summer, and now I've got an Intamin standup right downtown at SFAW. It's harsh... if you don't like Mantis, stay the hell away from this thing. (I, however, love Mantis... but this thing is intense!) Airtime hills on standups... awesome while it's happening, but the 'landing' is rough.

I agree with Craig. WT sucks and is a waste of time. Has CP ever built a wall around a specific area for a ride?? I do not remember a wall for MF or Raptor of some other coaster. A ride like "X" would be the best ride there. Flying coasters suck! Maybe a ride like "X", but standing up. I want "X" here, but it has to be something different about it.
Romie, was that meant to be sarcastic? I hope so, because if it wasn't, that was the most naive statement I've heard in a long time here. A coaster is a coaster...and I like Wicked Twister.

I agree, a 4D ( "X") would be absolutely awesome...if it worked. I don't see CP even considering one until X is running near-flawlessly for an extended period of time.

I still say I want a B&M Flyer. I'm not expecting one, but it's the perfect location for one...

By the way, was Chaos built entirely in the winter, or was there anything like the "building for the future" sign for it?
