TTD Launches: 5
MF Laps (2003): 10
Rapter Laps (2003): 6

I was at Cedar point today, and i rode dragster twice, i got there around 6 and they were running test runs, i jumped in line and got to ride it in just under an hour, and just ran back to the line to ride it again, it is the most undiscribable experience ever, just being crushed with a 120 mph rush... i dont even know why they put the speedometer there, its a blur to anyone on the train. (when i was in line i saw it onetime say "124") Its unbelieveable to look down at millenium force... excellent ride, go to cedar point tommorow and ride it yourself! ill cya there!

"...drum under the lunch track..."?

When did they move the motor to the concession stand under the grandstand? No wonder TTD was down for so long. ;-)

I'm hungry now with all this talk of the lunch track. Burgers anybody?

On the 4th of July the atmosphere in the queue was amazing. I've never see a whole queue start cheering (like going absolutey nuts) because a ride worked the way it was supposed to.

Well, back to the topic at hand...

I did go today with my friend. I had to work so we didnt get there till around 4. We went straight to TTD. When we got there it was closed due to technical problems. From what we could see there was virtually no line left in behind the wall, but a line had formed that started at the entrance and went all the way back to the station. Since it was the reason we came we decided to wait, There wasnt muchj goin on for the first hour, then they ran one train and it didnt even come close to making it over the top. Everyone just sat back down. About a half hour later, they launched another train and it made it over the top, barely. They did another right after that that rolled back. After the train didnt make it there was about a 15 minute wait, then they tested 3 in a row that all made it over, so they opened the line. We were right, there was NO ONE in the line, we walked right up to the ramp before we stopped. Onaly a few 5 minute breakdowns followed and we got one, front seat. It was about a extra 1/2 hour wait but it was totally worth it. The rest of the day it was running fine with a few breakdowns here and there, but nothing over a half hour from what i noticed....

Hey folks remember that its only a ride and in the grand scheme of things it is not worth losing a wink of sleep over.

I hope to get to ride it this season as well and I know that FUN is working like heck to get it running as it is a major source of attendance at CP.

I think that upper management gets stock incentives as part of their compensation package so they are concerned to say the least.

Let us all keep in mind that they are doing their utmost to "get it up". I say good luck and godspeed to them!

On Sunday (7/6) the downtime in the afternoon was scheduled. They closed off the line and ran the rest of the people in the line through the ride before shutting down. I had just gotten off when they closed the line, and I heard a cop explaining that there would be planned downtime for about 4 hours. That's probably why, as someone said earlier, there was no one in the station when the ride reopened after the downtime.

By the way, I rode it 3 times on Sunday, twice in the front seat. The longest I waited was 1.5 hours, and that includes a 30 minute wait for front and some downtime. :)

Like they said, it would take the rest of the season to completely do a "make-over" and besides, they just had TTD closed for what, 14 days, which is 2 weeks, and in that time it still isn't even running reliably...

Since the 21st of last month. I rode TTD on the 20th and I have an ORP and my receipt for the ORP to prove it.

That may be so, but the official website said the 20th, and, it might have closed at a later time than that which you rode it...

Are they running at full 6 train operation yet or just at 5?
