Anyone see the show on the Travel Channel?

Ok, get this, the travel channel did one of their little guides to a certain area in the world, well they did the Great Lakes, (well, basically lake erie) but anyways, they talked about CP for like the first 20 min. of the show, tell me of this isn't redicalous:

"Cedar Point's Tallest scream machine is MF, it stands an impressive 352 feet above the park"

YES, heres the second one

"The Great Bear lodge located in sandusky ohio, [about 20 minutes from cleveland] has one of the biggest indoor water parks in the world.''

they had vee said earlier, "Cedar Point is about 70 miles from cleveland."

UGH!! THESE PEOPLE!!!

Haha!  That's almost as bad as that MSNBC coaster show last year that said S:UE was at CP.

They obviously got their numbers mixed up while putting the show together... 352 feet is the height of  Perry's Monument on south bass island, which they also showed during the show.

Hm... I was in the up close background in June when the Travel channel came and did some filming.  I didn't know who it was, until I saw them again later with marked equipment.  I'll have to watch this show.  It looks like it's gonna air again Saturday at 7pm.  Then again December 25 at 1am and 10pm.

On one of the shows on TLC last weekend, they said Viper at SFMM was as tall as the statue of liberty!

Yeah I know, I spelled Millennium wrong, so lay off! j/k
It was a pretty bad edit.  When ever they showed the lake erie beaches they were showing CP.  They slightly garbled facts and figures.  Some of the film was great.  I bet that lady on the Power Tower is sick of seeing herself everywhere.   Most of the film was canned CP promo stuff.  I think some of it was original though.

They made it all look like it's one large amusement park.  The reality is that most of the stuff is at least 20 minutes to an hour away.  They could have dropped the Put-in-bay 'Adult' crap.  It could have stayed hidden.  Seeing some fat lady show something made me want to puke.  CP is not in the same category and should not be shown in the same show.  (Thats my two cents.)

I loved how they said CP is keeping all of there upcoming ride plans secret.  'Duh'.  They must not have talked to the lemon chill guy, or my uncles cousins friends dog that walked past the house of the vp that heard the plans.  (Sorry bad joke.)

CP fans it's worth watching.   One more way to get a small fix until May.

Put-In-Bay... ahhh memories.... ;)

Just because I have a fast car, doesn't mean pull me over on my way to CP!

That's probably true... If I'm right the actual "statue" is only 185 or so feet tall (not including the pedistal)... that's only if you want to nit-pick..   :)

I think Viper is 188ft and the Statue of Liberty is around 150ft. That's what it said in I watched (can they get anything's height right?)

What's with the Travel Channel? You'd think they'd check these things. If the MF were 352 ft. tall, The trains would go 100+ M.P.H. on that first hill. Going that fast would be fun, too bad the trains weren't designed to go over 100.
HEY, though did everyone that did watch the show on the Travel Channel hear that they said that CP gets a NEW "ride" every two years. Well I kinda knew that, but  I mean put 2 and 2 together (2000-MF) (2002-WT). Now the big thing is what will they do for 2004
