gravity: down to earth, without the sugar coating.
Has anyone noticed in that picture how the track doesn't go all the way to verticle but starts to twist and after about 180 degrees of twistage and then it changes to verticle. It almost looks like it goes beyond verticle after it twists and before it changes to verticle.
If the track twisted around it's own centerline, then it would be perfectly vertical, but the experience when riding it just wouldn't be the same. Instead of looking at the entire section of track, focus more on only the running rails, and where the train will be throughout the course of the twist. You'll see that it does, indeed, make a nearly perfect vertical twist.
It's the same concept as both of Wicked Twister's spikes.
