Anyone getting ad website links on their desktop?

While I am reading posts on this site,I have website links appearing on my DESKTOP for a casino,a pop up killer and a find an attorney service.

These are the usual scams that all pop up ads are,but I have never had pop ups appear as links on my desktop. Has this happened to anyone else?

I know it is from this site because I have deleted the items,cleared all of my cookies and cache and relogged in here, the links show on my desktop again,I have repeated this 3 times today.

It's kind of disturning that pop ups can write to my desktop now.

Good,at least I'm not the only one.I think that's a little too intrusive,2 pop ups at every message read is a bit much but writing something to my desktop is a little too far I think. Next they'll be loading programs or overwriting my favorites folder.

"They" aren't going to do anything. Any ads you see on this site are browser pops, that's it. If you don't like them, don't visit the site, because without them, I can't pay the bills for the free service you're enjoying.
