Anyone else terrified?

After seeing that the final piece of track being added to Wicked Twister's front tower, I can honestly say I'm petrified... terrified... down-right frightened by the height and the twistyness of that ride. Is anyone else soiling their pants looking at that tower besides me?

No, I'm not scared...I just can't wait 'til May though...:)

How can you be scared of such a magnificent looking structure? It's just begging to be ridden!
To be honest I think it looks like a yellow S:UE. Maybe I need to change my resolution to get the pants wetting effect. What I want to see is how much it will sway, which is the most scary part .:)
I can't wait to ride it! Always remember though....when a ride is scary, it is sure to be fun! ;)

ENJOY THE REST OF YOUR DAY HERE AT CEDAR POINT...AMERICA'S ROCKIN ROLLER COAST. *CLEAR*
The scarier the better!  I can't wait
It looks less like SUE than I thought it would. The supports are huge and I didn't expect the track to start twisting inside them. When I saw the drawing of it, I thought it looked liked a lame SUE rip off. Seeing it now, I may have to eat my words.

When I stood under the rear spiral and looked straight up at the foot choppers, it was clear to me that this wasn't just another Impulse.

Impulse v3.0

Third time's a charm!

I agree with you Jeff. I took a pic from where you're talking about, I'm sure you did too. It's in a frame right here next to me. Just awesome. Can you imagine looking up at it when its done? I like these supports a lot better the SUE, but I am afraid you will only experience the best of this ride in the front seat.  They should make the seats like Face/Off at PKI. Maybe Intamin will do that on Impulse v4.0 .

Just my 2 cents.

...And in the back seat. I think that's going to be the money seat. You know how on the "old" Impulses you head toward the ground face first in the back seat? Now imagine twisting while you do that, partially involved with the supports!

Well, I've eaten my words...  through this entire announcement, and the construction... I've been thinking "Well, it's a cool new ride for the park.. but nothing to get completely worked up over..".  I was excited the park was finally adding a launch, and I've never been on an impulse before, so it was a worthy addition.. but nothing too impressive.

Until I saw the photo of the far tower topped off today...  I am now completely impressed.  You never quite grasp the height in drawings, and seeing it on the webcam today... it finally clicked.  This is one big mutha. ;)

Considering I just started riding the big coasters just under 2 years ago am I scared hmmmm?...let me think.....NO!

If you're scared of it now, wait until it starts to wobble  :)

If you think about it, it will wobble just as much as the 2nd generation impulses because the portion of unsupported track is about equal...which isn't to say that it will still freak the hell out of people. :)

I watched the final twist go up yesterday, and all the while was thinking how HIGH it was.  It looks high on the webcam, I can only imagine in person.   Yes, I'm a bit scared, but then, I was scared my first ride on Maggie, and my first ride on MF.  Looking forward to my first impulse.

Not afraid , just Drooling now.... I too must take back all the dissapointment I said when it was first announced. BUT THIS  RIDE LOOKS COOL !   The front and very last seats are the going to be the best ! I can Hardly wait...
Yeah, me too.  I take back all the dissapointment too.  Up until they started putting up the rest of the twists, I thought it might just be another impulse and people won't be all that impressed.  Well, now I'm impressed...

Wicked Twister Rocks

I am getting anxious beyond my wildest dreams for the time when I can come to the Point after schools' out and be able to ride rides for hours. The hours of fun and entertainment. I'll be sure to catch at least one ride on that new, glorious Wicked Twister, if not more.
