I have been waiting for millenium force for quite a while... yeah! 300 feet! 80 degrees! Now that I see these pictures.... I am scared.... I am going to ride it this summer... but I am still having doubts... I live in San Antonio, and I am terrified of heights, I went to SWoT to ride the Steel Eel, made my knees feel weak just looking at it.... Imagine MF! I would probably urinate on myself. lol.... well Laters
I kind of agree, but, WHAT AM I SAYING? This is the first ever coaster to break 300 feet and I don't care if I ruin my boxers and pants, I'm ridin' that bad boy!

Thank you for riding the Raptor and enjoy your day here at Cedar Point, America's Rollercoast!
Yes, I agree, I am going to be first in line... in June, anyway, but really, with the new pics posted on Midwest Coaster Central, it gives you a reality check. If you look to the right of the lift, you'll see a surprisingly small lift hill going up an away towards the back of the pic. That's Magnum.

no other coaster has ever struck fear into my heart (and stomach) as early or as strongly as MF has. nevertheless, i WILL be on it and i am already A)showing the pics and video to anyone who will look, and B) planning on taking two first-time CP'ers out there this year, just to watch them go WWWOOOOWWWW!!! like i do every day....

"I think I scrambled my brain!!"
What? Me scared?? It's going to have to take a lot more than a rollercoaster to scare me away!!
I'll admit though, It does tend to get my heart racing!

i once said to a friend of mine..."Randy, I'll go on ANY rollercoaster in the world...but i won't EVER drive with you again!!" so after a ride in HIS car, even MF doesn't seem that scary, now that i think about it...hee hee. :)

I am scared. I don't know about you guys but I think Power Tower is to tall, but I rode that 4 times in one day. Since now I am going with my cusin I have to ride in the back of the train. I did it on Magnum and it felt like I was going to die (not to mention I had to go to the bathroom really really bad and it was freezing). I think MF will kill me but I am ready to die at Cedar Point.

...We hope you have a great day here at Cedar Point America's Rockin' Roller Coast
after seeing that video today from the official site my heart is really pumped and racing now..that was incredible..the guys on top of the hill while its being attached are insane!! That video was excellent and a very good marketing tool in my opinion for CP to show to the gen public!!

I'm scared too. I just wonder if all this hype will live up to it's name? (remember that Y2K glitch thing?)

Ride it hard, long, and furious!
I think it will be a little scary. If you think about, you'll be up int the air 310" with nothing but a lap bar to hold onto. Nothing on top of you, nothing arround you. It's quite intimidating. But who am I kidding??? I'm gonna' ride it anyway.
Im not scared one bit right now... But when I finally get to ride the thing, and Im sitting in the car getting ready to go, Ill probably be a little scared (not that much though).

The Samurai has spoken.
I'm not scared, but I will be in May when I crest 300-plus feet. I remember how I felt the first time I rode Power Tower. My heart was pounding. So I'm sure I will feel the same. I love it though!
I hope all the hype doesn't disapoint us. You know, like a movie you were really looking forward to, and then you saw it and wondered what all the hype was about. I want this to be the best coaster in the world!
Ever sence I went on the rip cord I have been fine, but I'm scared of heights, so I just won't look down =P
Relic
I"ll prob. watch MF a couple of times, and then somehow convince myself to go on that beast..
and I thought The Pitfall was high..

There's nothing to be scared about. All these rides are perfectly safe or they wouldn't be built.
The scare factor isn't necessarily about the safeness of a ride, it has to do with more psychological aspects of your own personality. (Sorry, it was the only way I could think to put it.) We all know that the chances of getting seriously injured on a CP ride is about the same as the chances of getting struck by lightning while wearing a rubber suit.
