Anyone else buy any FUN back in March?

I picked up a bit of FUN back in March.....needless to say quite happy today as we have nearly doubled since than.

If you missed out, sorry.

But I am making money off CP now!

Soda prices...I say $5 a soda. More profit!

...just because you raise the price of something doesn't necessarily mean more profit. CP would most likely lose profit because nobody would buy it.

First rollback=opening weekend '09

Yeah yeah, but from $8.90 in March to $11.96 today.

34.38% return plus some div's

Was nice to give CP a little cash and have them give me a little more back :)

I kick myself in the butt for not investing all in to USB or WFC at the same time though.

you haven't even realized those earnings until you sell it. right now you're just speculating.

Well I did sell today :)

I hope my temporary infusion of cash in to FUN will give me a new coaster or two next year....

I've got 300 units, originally purchased in what feels like a million years ago. If you look at it on a strict cost basis, I'm down 40%. However, that includes the cost of reinvestment from the distribution, which I suppose I didn't "pay" for in the strictest sense. I don't think I outright bought more than half of those units. That's where the real win used to be, in the distribution. Now that it has been cut in half, not so much.

I bought some fun last March. She was on a street corner and I... oh. Stock.

I bought some last October when the market started to slide. Plan on buying more, I am in it for the long haul baby, no day trading here.

I think buying individual stocks right now is colossally stupid unless you're planning to watch them all very carefully.

I might be stupid, but I know someone that back Disney Stock when it was first available to the public for a very low price and kept it for a couple of decades that investment gave him the downpayment on their house. The stock market is a gamble no matter how you look at it, but my plan is buy to a few stocks here and there, based on what I like and what advsiors suggest and if the companies make it, which some will and some won't, then hand them off to my kids to do what they wish, when they are 25. I am not saying I am going to make them rich, but my daughter chose this stock, so I bought it for her and I.

Scottrade for everything but options. $7 a trade. There are cheaper brokers though.

I had puts on GM and made some "free money" last week. It was literally assured money......

If you want to see what TV does to a stock, look at DRYS. Little media hype last week.....

Ugh, the stock market. I was ready to scoop up mass quantities of Ford stock when it was at about $1 a share...I started to make a Scottrade account that day, but I was so busy with online sales that it got pushed aside and forgotten about.

I'm just depressed looking at it today...one of the biggest mistakes in awhile. I would have been very, very happy right now, but hindsight is 20/20. Sigh...

I used E-trade because I have a money market account with them. 3.30% apr.

I use TD Ameritrade, I really like them a lot. I set up a checking account with them and I have 25% of my paycheck deposited into it. When the price of units drop I picked up quite a bit of units of FUN I now have close to 500 units.

You bought that much outright? That wasn't a very good idea.

If you look over the history of the company it has been very strong. They have a great vision and I totally believe in Dick Kinsel!
