Anyone Been to the All Wheels Extreme Show?

Has anyone out there gone to see the new BMX show? It looks really exciting.

I can't believe nobody has reviewed it yet. How is it?

I've watched it from the Wicked Twister and it is a definitely a bit of everything.....

If that counts for watching it :)
CPboy77, whens your next trip in June? Maybe we could meet up and chill

I watched the show memorial day weekend and this show is real hit.

The performers are very talented. The show consist of bike riding stunts,

rollerblades, skateboard and dancing. Do not miss this show.

There's also some decent (but probably too young) eye candy. ;)

I saw it, it was pretty entertaining, mainly focused on three girls though. :) Dick Kinzel was two rows in front of me, he watched Wicked Twister during alot of it...

They could use a different Skateboarder, cause that guy definitely isn't very good.
The Bikers are good, but I'm disappointed that they didn't throw any back flips.
Overall, it looks like a fun family show that I will most likely watch a few times throughout the season.

I have absolutely no experience on a skateboard, but yes, the skateboarder is not good. The guy on roller blades, though - he rocks.

^^ The guy in the green shirt does a back flip at the end of the show (if that's the stunt you mean) at 2:30 min of the last part of my videos in that Playlist link above.

^^ + ^ Without a giant half pipe or railings to grind on I don't think they give the skate border enough to do, is why he doesn't impress much, otherwise he's probably pretty good, he just doesn't get a chance to show it. It seems like an obligatory addition to the show. I never understood skateboarding myself. I've known street skaters and played roller hockey so I can appreciate the inline skater a.k.a. Rollerblader I'd agree he's good and nails his stunts/tricks. (Those black pants have got to be hotter than heck though).

I saw the show twice. The hip hop dancers, comedy routine and gymnasts added to the variety. It's only 18 minutes long which is just right. The crowd consisted of all ages and everyone seemed to respond to it well. A lot of people went up to shake their hands after the show.

I also taped it from the front row which is interesting and the eye candy enthusiasts would have had something to look at, but the sky was so bright, the performers were in shadow. I could have done it with a Program AE Sunlight function on to compensate but that means no close-ups.

The purpose of the videos is just to show the curious what it is. As always it's better live.

I agree, the guy on the skateboard needs to step it up. He mainly went back and forth on the ramps in the background.

These riders are expected to perform countless times for the rest of the summer. They are already doing tricks that put that at risk for injury, and I am not sure of the skill of the riders (well if they were pro's I guess we would know, Dave Mirra, Ryan Nyquist, Matt Hoffman hello?). Anyways I don't think they will push the envelope neccessarily in effort to reduce the already high probablity that a few of them will not make it through the entire season without injury.
The bikers weren't really all that stunning, but the guy doing flatland definitely was pretty top notch. I used to be able to whip by bike around in circles and ride on the front wheel with the back in the air, than my $1300 custom built flatland bike got stolen....

^ My next door neighbor had TWO of those expensive bikes stolen at once - ouch.

The AWE (All Wheels Extreme) performers also get two days off. It's the shortest show at 18 minutes including less time for the stunts. I'd agree it's not easy on the body for most of them. I think their talents fit the bill for the show.

Does anyone know the name of the song used during the Flatland BMX Tricks?

I was just watching part of the you tube video and I noticed that the Wicked Twister backdrop seems to work really well for this type of show. When the ride is running behind the show, it seems to add a lot of kinesthetic energy.

...and enjoy the rest of your day at Cedar Point, The Am-aaaa-zement park!

I'm not saying that they need to do some crazy insane tricks.
The bikers are pretty damn good, and they are very entertaining and fun to watch.
The inline skater was was getting some pretty good air and doing some spins and grabs and it was entertaining.
The skateboarder, ehhh... he did nothing but ride back and forth over the ramps. That takes NO talent. Once you can balance on the board you can do that. The most basic trick ever is the ollie, which he never even did. He never even left the ground or the ramps.

All I'm saying is, why would they put all those good performers in the show, and then have a not so good skateboarder.
There are tons of good skaters out there. I managed a skate shop for 3 years, and there used to be 12 year old kids that could blow that guy out of the water.

^ I know what you mean.

^^ I agree. I put together a short video of just Wicked Twister from the Stadium with some of it during the show and some from the front row. It's cool how it inadvertently or serendipitously goes past in the background even at the end of some of the segments of the show. It's also color co-ordinated with the show or vice versa.

Looks like a pretty cool show. And I also think the skateboarder really didn't showcase too much talent. But then again it's pretty difficult to showcase skateboarding with that set-up. Still, he could have done some cool flip tricks onto/over the box in the middle, or even a cool transfer or something.
