I was at the park today, and for about 35 40 mins windseeker was stuck at about the middle full of people. It eventually got lowered down, and there was about 10 mechanics, Mr.Hildebrand(prob spelled wrong), 3 or 4 guys in shirts and ties, and a woman all dressed up. I saw 2 mechanics climb up it with grinder, just wondering if anyone saw what happened.
I was at the park Thursday and noticed a new noise coming from the ride as it went up and down. It seemed to me that everytime the carriage passed some of the brake fin joints it would "clunk". It would appear to me that the brake allignment issue that delayed its opening is reappearing. I thought when this issue first came up that it would be an ongoing problem until everything settles.
Beeeeehhhhhhh!!!!!
David, Windseeker does not have brake fins, the brakes on the carriage work on the tracks just like an elevator, which is basically what it is. The so called fins are really the containment for the travelling power chain. I've always heard the clunking noise as the carriage went up or down, nothing new as far as I know.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
