I have been noticing a lot of duplicate topics coming up and feel like a search bar, where you can search for previous topics, would remove a lot of these. I know absolutely nothing about managing a website or anything so I don't know how difficult something like this would be, but it's just a thought.
I feel the search can be improved though. You may search something and it'll bring up 20 topics. Say you search Magnum construction (just picked some random thing), one of the topics it brings up is Cedar Point 2013. Is there a way that it'll actually take you to the post in the topic? It does no good searching something then a 4,000 post topic comes up and you have no idea where in the topic the post is.

If you're not having any luck with our search, you can try Google. The problem with Google is that it doesn't seem to do well on indexing each and every page (or, at least, returning all results). The search here gives you better sorting options as well. But, for what it's worth, you can limit a Google (or Bing) search to just pointbuzz.com by adding "site:pointbuzz.com" to the query.
Yeah, there are tweaks to the newer version of the forum (coming here "eventually") that seem to allow it to be better indexed. Since it went live on CoasterBuzz in April, I've noticed significantly more traffic from new visitors searching for stuff.
