Any updates on Kings Island rumors?

sorry, not sure where to ask this, but I first read of the rumors somewhere here.

Dumping Nick for Snoopy and separate charge for Boomerang Bay? Rumor? Truth? Wait and see? I'm anxious because Nick characters and the water park accessibility were two of the main reasons we made a trip this year, and the two reasons we'd go back. Our third reason is the great value with the two-day park ticket, but that value would be less minus Nick and especially without the water park.
