I just wanted to take a second to thank all of the ride-ops that were working the ride last night about an hour before closing. I was the guy that proposed to his girlfriend in the front row of the loading station and was very happy that you guys actually took time out of your busy jobs to acknowledge us when we returned to the station after our ride together. That was really cool of you guys!!! After trying to figure out how, where and when to do it (unfortunately the park operations couldn't do anything for me which was understandable) You guys made it seem a little more special for us. Again, Thank you very much!!!!!
Attched is a picture of my proposal.

Congrats to the two of you! That is definately a very awesome place and way to propose. :)
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
Aha! That's awesome dude!! Congrats!!
My fiance and I will be celebrating our honeymoon all through July 4th week there. I proposed to her on the jumbotron at a Pro Hockey game, nashville predators, here in Tennessee.
That's a shame that they didn't at least work with you to find SOMETHING they could do for a special situation like that. I hope the crew blasted it on the mic and got everyone's attention! The op in the picture looks like he's wishing you would move it along lol.
Big congrats to you the both of you!

Thank You everyone. I too wanted to do it on a jumbotron @ either a Red Wings Games or a Philadelphia Eagles game but when I jokingly suggested it she wasn't having ANY part of it. I figured this was a cool way because since we met we've spent at least 40 days each season since @ the point and Rapotor is her fave. BTW the crew did blast it for everyone to hear. Our friend that actually took the pic went off the platform to meet up with his wife and kids and didn't ride with us. He said that he could hear them all the way over in front of midway market and then just a thunderous applause from everyone waitning on the platform. That's why I started this thread in order to thank the crew for what they did.
Not even a clue. She thought we were going to pick up her ring (no surprises were planned) Friday night for our anniversery on Saturday. I had already gone to the store before hand and picked it up. we went back Friday night and the sales people at the jewelry store played along that it wouldn't be in until Mon. or Tues. She was all pissed and depressed all Friday night and most of Sat. untill I pulled it outta my pocket in the station.
