Any new MAVERICK souvenirs yet?

With only 76 days to go before opening day, has anyone seen anything besides the T-shirt and Christmas ornament for Maverick? C.P. has to be getting the gift shop planograms set up by now, and planning for the new coaster paraphanalia. Any news yet?

Just because they're not online doesn't mean they don't have new merchandise. What is available online is only a small portion of the variety of merchandise available in the park.

Speaking of souviners... I have the Cedar Point-opoly 2nd edition with Castaway Bay on it. Does anyone know where I might be able to get a copy of the original? Does anyone know what was on the space that now has Castaway Bay?

I love collecting Dragster stuff....now I get to collect Maverick stuff!:)
Remembering back to when we first found out Maverick might be the name, the list of items on that site was quite extensive.

Jason, I have a copy of the original, but it's unopened. Where is Castaway Bay located? I might be able to tell from the picture on the back of the box.

Castaway Bay is located where the $75 Luxury Tax on monopoly would be. Between Top Thrill and Millennium I belive.

I have the original version. The CP equivalent of the $75 luxury tax is Challenge Park. It's the space immediately before Top Thrill Dragster. The caption reads, "Challenge Park/Park Fee $75".

Is that paint on those wooden doors in the third picture?

I can understand painting the wall with whatever but not wooden doors. You have to either sand them down or replace them to get rid of that some day.

I don't care how much my kid likes something, if he paints a wood door in my house he'll be working in the yard more than usual that summer.

Cedar Points site when i went on the shoping area i seen so far a Maverick t-shirt for sale. They could have more stull though.

It's not like I was going to go through anything elaborate preparing it just to paint it with something as small as acrylics.
Heck, the door itself is a piece of crap....why not at least make it look good for the time I'll have it. After all, it's not going to be there forever.

Most doors like his in houses are painted white anyways. Just prime over the Dragster stuff and paint it white again. Perfectly fine!
