Any adult ride at CP you WILL NOT ride and why?

Just curious, I've rode every ride at Cedar Point over my many years of going since I was born, I am 28 now and I still have never rode Witches Wheel, I know it might make me a tad sick, I'm not scared at all to ride it.I just don't want to knowing that if I do I will have rode everything in the park, and I kind of like knowing there is one thing out there if I ever want it that I have not rode, am I just crazy or is there anyone else who just won't ride a ride for some strange reason, just curious. :)

I do not ride spinny rides. I did try out Windseeker and it didn't make me sick, but other than that spinny rides are a no go. I'm too tall for Cedar Creek Mine Ride so I can't ride that either. Thats about it.

Let's Get Weird.

As a rule I don't do the spinny rides, (except MaxAir... I like that one for some reason. Haven't had a chance to try Windseeker yet).

I have also given up on Mantis, Corkscrew, and Mean Streak - the pain associated with riding each of them makes them not worth having the rest of my day ruined because of a headache or backache.

I know.... I'm getting old :)

I'm done with Mantis and Corkscrew as well, and although I like MaxAir, my sense of equilibrium does not. Also, it seems every time I ride it, someone pukes. It's only a matter of time before I get barfed on.

After being completely covered in the puke of another water park rider, higher on the stairs than me at Holiday World a few weeks ago, I'm in no hurry to relive that experience.

That is horrible, I don't know if it was better that it happened at the water park vs the amusement park.

Let's see...

Mantis...too painful.
Space Spiral...on any day above 80 degrees.
Midway Carousel...I would if it had a real band organ.
Cadillac Cars...because they are too small.

I think you mean Turnpike Cars.

I am done with Meanstreak... I want to enjoy the rest of the day at the park WITHOUT the help of Aleve

Mantis: TCFKAB - Can't fit, which is a shame, because I really like that ride.

Wicked Twister - They did something to it so that I don't fit anymore, even though I have gotten SMALLER.

Er, that's about it. And I would ride both of those if I could.

I can honestly say that there is not one ride in the park that I do not enjoy riding now that Chaos is gone (hated it...very painful for whatever reason).

In fact, I have spent some time this year riding some rides I had not in years this season, like Mantis, Mean Streak, older flats, etc....and our 3 year old is helping re-introduce us to some fun rides as well. :)

You should ride the Witch's Wheel...it's a blast!

Dave, I was unaware of any changes to Wicked Twister at all...very sorry to hear that for you. What in the world did they change?

Dave, I've had a similar issue with Wicked Twister this year. I nearly had to take my first ever Walk of Shame, despite weighing pretty much the same as I have for a number of years. The ride ops managed to get my belt fastened for me. When I mentioned my past history with the ride, he told me they had replaced the seat belts this year and the new ones were shorter.

I'm officially done with Corkscrew, unless and until I hear of substantial work done either to the track or the seat/harness assemblies.

Mantis has been a "once a year on principle" ride for me for 5 or 6 years now. I don't enjoy testing the testes.

Edit: somehow I missed Kevin's intervening post. Now it sounds like I was ignoring him, when I merely somehow overlooked him. Oops.

Yeah I meant the Turnpike Cars. I can't keep the 3 of those ride names straight.

Oh wait...alas, I cannot fit in the Turnpike cars at 6-2. I can still squeeze into the "tall person" seat on Jr. Gemini though. :)

The Holiday World puke incident was a once in a lifetime "opportunity", about as likely as winning the lottery or getting struck by lightening. It took a special combination of being at the right coordinates, on a hot enough day for someone to get heat stroke, right after eating, with exactly the right wind speed and direction.

The worst part is I had already waited 20 minutes for this particular ride, and wasn't about to start over. Shortly after it happened, one of the crew members was coming up the stairs (shift change) so I explained what happened. She told me "your best bet is to just wait till you can ride and rinse off in the splash pool". It sounds gross, but that's what I did. Not any more disgusting than being covered in puke, I assure you. Oddly enough, the persons in front of and behind me (one step apart) had ZERO vomit on them. We all had a lot of good laughs about my "luck".

Afterwards, I went to the restrooms where I found a guy cleaning and MADE him squirt me down with his disinfectant cleaning solution, after which, I scrubbed, and showered it off.

It makes for a great story and could statistically only have happened to a guy like me who spends so much time in amusement parks!

It's not an adult ride, but I hate ferris wheels, so noferriswheel.

Well maybe I will ride it if it is that much fun Kevin, I love rides like MaxAir but I always feel dizzy rest of the day after riding, I don't know if I would riding WItches Wheel, but yeah, I enjoy pretty much everything else, Mantis I have not rode in about 4 or 5 years, but I really want to again.

You'd be hard pressed to get me on Max Air-I don't like pendulum rides and I'm sure the spinning would make me spew.

Won't get on Skyhawk either-pendulum ride and the hang time seems like it'd be too scary.

No ferris wheels for me either-the few times I've ridden one its always stopped at the top while people load/unload...too high for too long for my comfort.

Oddly, I'd like to try Witches Wheel but am afraid it'd make me hurl.
