Answer

1. No.
2. Only on weekends.
3. About two hours and ten minutes.
4. Amitelli Products.
5. Shuffleboard.
6. Forty-two.

And I am guessing that by now you are saying, "Dave, what in the hell are you talking about?". The point is, Guide to the Point is getting harder and harder to read these days because of all these threads given such descriptive titles as "Question," "Strange topic," "Two questions," and "Answer." Is it that difficult to give us some idea what you're talking about when you start the thread???

Thanks!

Well I know the question to "42", if that's any help. =)
I hear ya!
Now for the trivia challenge:

Can you come up with CEDAR POINT RELATED questions that match those answers? I have some in mind, but I want to see what anybody else comes up with.

For your convenience, I have numbered the answers.

I thought the question to #1 was "Is Cedar Point running out of space," but it would appear that you have the wrong answer. Sorry, everyone has to be a comedian.

3. The longest Dave Althoff has ever waited for a ride at Cedar Point.

6. Number of "adult" rides at CP.

1) Is the Magnum sinking?

2) Is the park really that crowded?

3) What's your longest wait ever for MF?

4) What's the name of the company that makes dippin' dots?

5) If I don't like rollercoasters and rides, what is there to do at the Hotel Breakers?

6) How many times has Dave A. been on MF?
1. Do GP go to the park in May, June, or weekdays?

2. When do the GP flock to the park, and make the midways crowded.

3. How long does it take to get to CP from CABEWNCP's house?

5. What is the best game ever invented? :) (sarcasm...)

:)
I think this is the funniest thread!
I think the question to the 2 hour answer is how long does it take to read these threads!

1. No.
Can Cedar Point be responsible for anything lost or damaged?

2. Only on weekends.
Can I wait 1 hour to ride the Gemni.

3. About two hours and ten minutes.
What is the longest wait you ever had at the Burger Patio

4. Amitelli Products.
The Office phone comany of Cedar Point

5. Shuffleboard.
The Cedar Point Golden Buckeye Special

6. Forty-two.
What is next years admission price.
ok, i see this was more fun than i think it was meant to be :)
We should have one of these things weekly, seriously. Jeff, how 'bout you, Dave, Dan, or somebody make one up, and the best answers get the thingie on the front page! I dunno, just a crazy idea, but I think it'd be fun.
Some sample questions which match the given answers:

1. Does Magnum XL-200 go upside down?

2. Is the park ridiculously crowded?

3. How long does it take you to get to Cedar Point?

4. Who built the Swan Boats?

5. What is that grey bit of concrete for between the Hotel Breakers and the Beach?

6. What is the height (in inches) of the standard queue rails in the park?

I'm surprised that nobody came up with #4... :)

Nonono, the real question to 42 is "What is the answer to the great question of life, the universe, and everying?" You all need to study your Douglas Adams some more :)
And the answer of course, is what is 6x9?
Actually, Bill, the question was more specific than that: "What do you get when you multiply six by nine?". Was that because the output was generated five minutes before the program ended, or because the program was messed up in the early stages when the Golgafrinchams arrived?

Jmstuckman, you are of course correct about 42, but there is one little problem. While Cedar Point is indeed a part of the Universe and Everything, and while I was indeed thinking about. "What is the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything" when I scribbled down the number 42, I also stated later that I wanted Cedar Point related questions, as this is, in fact, a Cedar Point message board. And the fact that Cedar Point happens to be included under the umbrella of Life, the Universe, and Everything wasn't quite good enough for me. :)
