Switch the colors around (purple track and yellow supports) and you've got it. ;)

Seriously, I doubt you are going to find a pic of it... there was one from a long time ago, but it was taken down because it was technically trespassing.

Very creative Majin.

Enjoy your ride on the big bad bug

This picture, from the cedar point website, shows it (albeit it's small) on the right side, sort of right behind the mantis lift hill.

Just a word of advice: if a topic is closed, don't reopen it. It was closed for a reason.

Jeff, didn't you get rid of the tresspasser with "two" personalities?
I just saw the colors today. I thought it looked pretty good. But, I am color blind. Really though, I liked it and it was far overdue.

Those are the exact colors of wildcat. Perhaps left overs from this paintjob. They decided to paint wildcat.

Any body got a little bit of history of wildcat?Wasn't it a carny ride that could be set up and torn down for transport??and have they fixed the brakes last time i rode it i lost my eyebrows,I stopped they didn't:)
And if I wanted to could I still buy one for a park??------------------
I'm not an old fogey, I'm just an old coaster rider..
Wild Cat is a portable coaster seen at many fairs. you might be able to buy one but....where would you put it? lol

Besides the great rides and being the best of everything, the best part about Cedar Point is that it isn't Six Flags! YAY!

WildCat is a portable rollercoaster built by Schwarzkopf, ya know, the guy that designed Magic Mountain's "Revolution". this guy's ride's are awesome, although most have been toned down a bit. Im pretty sure that WildCat was in a different place in the park in it's earlier years, but dont quote me on that. I agree with coastercrazy2005, the ride did need a new paint job, but why such strange colors? it looks like a clown puked on it...

"clown puke" now thats a new color
yeah, but it's probably the best discription

I will quote you, and you're right. It used to be at the site of the Diving Stadium I believe, or somewhere on that side of the park. It's also the second coaster to be the Wildcat. The complete history is on virtualmidway.com

Wildcat was in three places over the years, and the current Wildcat is the second one at CP. Sites for the Wildcat were where the Aquatic Stadium stands, where Disaster Transport now stands and in it's current location. The original Wildcat was sent to ValleyFair! and a new one was purchased for CP.

Florida may have Disneyworld and Key West,
but Ohio has Cedar Point and Put-In-Bay.
It's great to live in Ohio!

are they the same Wildcat ride? or different track layout?

Gash...that's REALLY pushing my memory. I believe that the original Wildcat that was sent to Valleyfair had the same layout as the second (and current) one.

If memory serves me correctly, Wildcat and Jumbo Jet were near each other.

As for the colors, I'm looking forward to seeing them. I think they will really brighten up that part of the midway.

Almost the same. I heard the newer one at CP is just a little bit longer, mainly because the loading area is a little bit extended.
