What would razing Oceana accomplish? Unless you ran something down behind DT.
My opinion is if you razed Oceana, a wild mouse type coaster would fit perfectly there. I would imagine that the arcade(old aquarium) would also be razed in favor of some flat rides. Just a guess. Who knows at this point.
The Arcade Formerly Known as The Aquarium will also be history.

All I can say is if they keep the coasters coming I really don't care where they put it as long as it is in there some how!!! :)
The area that Demon Drop and those arcades take up is an extremely small footprint of the park. That would be very stupid to remove them. Considering that I like Demon Drop better than Power Tower.

I always thought that it was possible to at least put a flat ride inside of Mean Streak, there is soo much room in there and all that queu space seems unneccasry.
I can name numerous times in the last three years I've seen the queue full.

regardless, there still seems to be ample space in there for a flat ride, or even a loading station for another coaster, restaurant, etc. That then would be a very cool space indeed.
Dan: Like the time we wanted to see the "mystery track" in the boneyard?

I do hope someone from the Company does peruse this forum occasionally...I would love to have someone know that taking out Peanuts Place(was Bear Country --and cute!!!!) would be a serious mistake. Having an area for cHILDREN--not just a place with smaller sit and spin rides, is a huge plus. Even Camp Snoopy with it's high profile, is basically sit and spin. What do you think that age group does all day there anyway...note the strollers and wagons....good childhood memories make for return gate sales!!! Let the kids PLAY!!!!There are tons of other places for yet more coasters.
A new coaster in my opinion would most likely go up in the area of what is now Oceana. This would probably be a classic woodie and would fit in with the boardwalk project if it comes to pass. CP needs to do something to better utilize that area of the park as it is a big area and does not attract anywhere near the number of guests that it should.
Maybe they will Move the spooky old tree to Camp Snoopy. Peanuts Playground is in bad shape. The stuff is just getting old. It would either need to be replaced or be taken out. I see ample room over there, and they wouldn't even need to touch Disaster Transport. Disaster Transport is a ride for people who are really scared of anything faster than the train. (Cut my DT rant out becouse that is all that need to be said).
One more thing the question is not when will Cedar Point run out of room but rather how long it will be untill it looks clutterd.

I'm sure that maybe in a couple of years that there might be a small flat ride on the island. They could fit a ride on the island, even with Millennium Force being there. They would just have to make an elevated walkway to get over to it. That way Paddle Wheel Excursions would still be able to operate.

Mantis How Much Can You Stand?
Cedar Point is not going to have a space problem for many years and many coasters to come. Why you ask? Cedar Point would always figure out a place for a new rollercoaster. My guess is since they own tons of property on Cleveland Road (the road cp is on), Cedar Point would just add a monorail. That would give people a nice view of the lake, and have 1/3 of the peninsula back for other rides. I won't even try to guess at other details. i.e. Soak City
Also, another one of my ideas is to keep Disaster Transport, but add tons more themeing. (I know Cedar Point is an AMUSEMENT park not a THEME park)
