Another PKD question...Hypersonic XLC

I got a question about Hypersonic XLC at PKD (Paramount's Kings Dominion). Does it ever have rollbacks like TTD?

Not to my knowledge, but I don't know much about the ride. I can't remember how fast it went over the hil, so I can't say if it'd not make it over sometimes.

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.

doesnt it have something towards the top of the incline like lim's or brakes or something?
XLC has rolled back before and, rumor has it, that upon Stan Checket's request the ride computers are actually programed to allow random rollbacks to add to the anticipation of the ride. I can't confirm this as fact, though.

The random rollback feature (if it really exists) has, obviously, never been used at the park- I doubt that PKD wants to lose more capacity on the ride than they need to.

There are brake fins that run about 1/3 of the height of the tower that close right after the train passes them (similar to TTD's brake fins popping up) to slow the train in the event of a rollback.

Perhaps the larger userbase over at Coaster Buzz could give you better answers.
