Another Parade?

I was on the space spiral yesterday and noticed a few items behind DT that looked like floats for a parade... The floats looked different than the ones used during Halloweekends, the are brighter summer colors. Has anyone else noticed theses, or did I just miss a new flash that announced a new summer parade?

I know the park was quite pleased with the reception of the HW parade and said they hope to add another one at some point, so I would not be suprised if a parade debuted for the summer.

I don't remember them saying that. Do you remember when/where they said that?

I dont sadly, might have been a cbuzz podcast (with Tony) or a paper article.

I also recall hearing that someone (Tony?) said since the Halloweekends parade was such a success they would consider a summer parade.

I would think they would have one for 4th of July. It is a national holiday and pretty much everyone shows up around that day and it is always packed.

Hrm, I wonder if CP actually has the money (lol sarcasm). Of course they would reuse the parade.

A parade for the 4th? A lot of time goes into making the parade and having it for a day is highly unlikely.

Why couldn't you use a 4th of July themed parade for the entire summer? You're probably talking a patriotically themed parade with American colors, maybe some John Sousa playing. Even if they throw in some sparklers or cherry bombs, there's no reason something like that couldn't have re-use potential.

I think they should have a parade for the summer. It only makes sense, people liked it. Have Lance put together another catchy tune and add (or retheme) a couple of floats.

If you are referring to the 'monster midway invasion celebration' thing, Lance did not write it or put it together.

^^^^I would hate to see anything like that. Hearing that "proud to be an American" song at various times throughout the day is bad enough. Have a parade that is summer themed, throw Snoopy and the gang in there and you've got a nice showcase. I want to go to Cedar Point and have a fun day and relax. No offense to the majority of the members here, but sometimes American patriotism is just too much.
