I purchased a Cedar Point Maxx Plus Pass.
I believe when I go to Geauga Lake and Kings Island I will have to go to Guest Relations to get a ticket to enter the park.
What I don't know is
1. When I go to Cedar Point, does the Cedar Point Maxx Plus Pass let me enter at the gate without going to guest relations.
2. When I go to Soak City, does the Cedar Point Maxx Plus Pass let me enter at the gate without going to guest relations.
3. When I go to Cedar Point and Soak City on the same day, can I use the Cedar Point Maxx Plus pass to enter at both gates on the same day without going to guest relations to get a ticket for one of the parks once my pass has been used to enter the other park on the same day?
Thank you for your help.
I would say, you get in without going to GR where ever your Pass was processed. I'm not sure about Soak city, because I never had a Combo Pass.

If it works as intended, you shouldn't have to go to guest relations anywhere.
We had GL season passes last year with the CP add-on and every time we went to the gate at CP they decided they wanted to do something different. Opening Day last season they just scanned them like they normally would and we were on our way. The next time we attempted the same thing and were stopped and told we had to sign in at guest relations. Each time we went, up until about 2/3 of the way through the season, we were told something different. Finally they realized they could scan our passes just like a CP one.
This year we have PKD season passes with the Maxx Pass included. From what we were told by the Director of Marketing and the Admissions Manager at PKD, every CF park will have the ability to scan former Paramount Maxx Passes and not have any problems. I'm guessing this firm that was doing the database and computer integration may have a hand in it.
*fingers crossed*

On a side note, do you notice something missing on those season passes.
The Paramount name is not there.

Well actually we still have our temporary ones and they have the Paramount name on them.
I spoke with Mr. Kuhlmann there and he said that they approved the new artwork for the passes you see just prior to Christmas.
Now we just have to send in our temp ones and get the permanent ones. He said they'd have them in March.

I won't keep my hopes up. But, if I can just have my pass scanned when ever I go to GL, CP or PKI, I will be very happy. Going to guest relations was definatly a hassel. Especialy when there is a line.

Assuming there are no drastic changes, a CP Maxx pass should scan at the gate at GL, and vice-versa. A CP Maxx pass going to another CF park would go through guest relations. As for the Paramount parks, I honestly have no clue how that will work out.
Even if they have a system in place for scanning the Paramount passes at CP (and the other parks) I suspect they will have that system either in Guest Relations or possibly the admissions window (far left side at CP's front gates). I can't imagine the volume of Paramount Park passes being high enough to justify putting additional equipment at the season pass turnstiles.

Anyone know when you can redeem your season pass vouchers this year? There is nothing worse than waiting until the last minute or waiting in that line on opening day. Plus my 3 year old is getting really close to that 48" mark and I'd really like to save $45.00 if possible.

You can renew your 06 pass by mailing in the voucher and they will use the same photo. We did this last year. Check out season pass central or just call them. Enjoy! :)
I have another question to add...I plan to upgrade to the all ohio parking pass sticker...I want to get this sticker and my pass in time to be able to use it for when KI opens on April 21st....Will CP's pass redemption center and parking office be open in time for me to do so?
CP's pass center typically opens in mid-April, so you should be ok.

I know a number of people who have contacted the park in a variety of different means (general e-mail, e-mail to the Season Pass Center, phone calls, etc..) and none of them have been able to get an answer to that question (in regards to KI's opening).

I just thought I'd let everyone know...
Word from Mr. Nelson is that the Season Pass Center will be open April 18th, 19th, and 20th to allow pass processing prior to Kings Island's Opening Day.
