annonying pop up..

Am I the only one getting the annonying ad with the suit case everyone I go to a page. The reason I ask, I can't even read a page because it's in the middle of the screen..

This suitcase never popped up before. Now, you can't even get rid of it. You try to close it, when it finally goes to the lower left of the screen, & it pops up again. Leave it alone, & it continues to follow your mouse & re-pop in the middle if you leave the current page you viewing. Whomever runs this page should do something about this. I can handle the other pop ups, this one is downright annoying.

I just found out that even when you click on the suitcase, another window opens. I thought it was over, but, when I went to another page SURPRISE! the suitcase popped up again

There is a close link at the top, right corner of the ad. If you click on that, it will go away.

Yeah, the close link is hard to read because it's usually on the other Ad at the top of the page.. It is very annoying, though. Pop-ups are the worst.

This is by FAR the most annyoing thing ive ever seen in my whole life! Every time I open a page that stupid suitcase pops up and annoys me!! Do they really think im gonna buy something from people who annoy me!?!?

I turned of WebWasher to see what it was. Yes it is annoying, so I just turned WebWasher back on, yay safety! Everyone who says ad blockers are stealing, yes I agree, but with obnoxcious ads like that one, I will not tolerate it.

LMAO...I find this hilarious because I have yet to get any such ad, but they seem to plague everyone else. Perhaps the POS browser Netscape 6.0 I'm using has finally paid off some how! :)

Don't worry, once Jeff finds out about this, he'll nuke the ad immediately.

What is most anticipated event of 2003? the debut of Dragster, the release of Metallica's new album, the release of Terminator 3, or the release of Matrix:Reloaded...tough call.

My firewall blocks all the ads and even some pictures but I'm not blocking them with an ad blocker. I'm at a loss on why it's been doing this.

I might have a fix to the problem. Try this:

*In Internet Explorer, go to TOOLS on the top toolbar

*click INTERNET OPTIONS

*click the SECURITY tab

*highlight RESTRICTED SITES and then click SITES

*type HTTP://WWW.BURSTNET.COM into the address and add

*this should block all ads from this company, particularly the suitcase...

Hope it works for you as it does for me.

I agree, that one is a bit obnoxious. I kept my pop up blocker off when I came here to support the site, but now I'm turning it back on.
