Hi guys, Long time reader but first time posting. I don't know exactly what they are called, but they are spikes that can be put on the top of Raptors supports to prevent birds from sitting and pooping halfway down them. They should not cost that much and will help Raptor look much better since it should be poop free! Many stores have them inside their sign letters to prevent birds from making nests. Just an idea and I know that CP people must check out this site. I love Raptor but the supports just look like crap.......(ha ha ha!) sorry :)

It won't matter if the birds can sit on Raptor or any other ride for that matter, they can just fly over and still bomb a ride with their deposit. Ride Sky Ride and look on top of the ballroom/arcade. Check out that roof. I don't think there is a easy fix to stop the seagulls and their lovely presents.
Cedar Point, Americas rip- rockin', high flyin', sky defyin', record breakin' roller coast
If any changes need to be made to Raptor, they need to smooth it out some. For the first time this year, I've had a rough, head-banging ride every time. I don't know if it's my imagination or they're running it without trims or what, but I don't remember it being that way. As far as the gulls go, I agree that there's not much that can be done about them. In all honesty, the gull mess doesn't bother me as much as the lovely coin stuck on gum collection on the concrete pillars. Stupid people are far worse than stupid aniimals in my opinion....
^ Oh, I always ride in the front. I don't know if that makes a difference or not. I just love actually being able to see what's going on. The first half of the ride was fine, it's the second half that's a little rougher. It seems to go through the inversions and helix faster than it used to. Maybe I've just been on the newer, smoother rides too much!
You would not believe how smooth it is when it is cold out. Speed really makes a difference.
I have always had the most rough rides in the front and the smoothest rides in the middle or back. Best bet is to keep your head glued to the seat back for the cobra roll.
It really seems to be temperamental...every once in a while I get a nasty ride, but overall Raptor is still one of the smoothest rides in the park.
