Amusement Parkas???

For you Clevelander's out there, check out todays (06/08/00) Plain Dealer. In the Metro section, in the back were all of the political articles are there is a little article titled "Amusement Parkas". The article is written in a poem format and it mentions a bunch of junior high kids going to CP, or the "roller coaster mecca on the Sandusky Bay", as it described, and something about an office cubical. Here's my problem, I don't understand what the writer is talking about in this article? I've read the article over and over and the most I can get out of it is that it is a political article critisizing school officals for letting kids go to an amusement park on school time when the state of education in this country is near defult. Has anyone else read this and understand what the point that the writer is trying to make?

Magnum was always orange, NOT red!
"Amusement Parkas"? That's what we needed at Kings Island on their Dry Run Day when we rode The Beast in the snow...!

Or, to bring this back on topic, at Cedar Point on Mantis' opening day...! :)

Vince... a cold day at the park is a better day than a warm day at work.
