I am currently in the process of testing for my Amateur Radio License with the FCC and I've seen that Sandusky has couple of repeaters. I didn't see anything in the rules or policies of the park, but I was wondering if they would maybe not permit you to enter the park with them, seeing as the police and other employees may use these types of radios on the same bands, because I'm sure that’s the type of radio that they use.
Thanks,

Ahh yes, HAM radios at Cedar Point....very interesting....I guess maybe we should just discuss the ramifications and effectiveness of radio transmissions from the parking lot? Or maybe what channels you can pick up the maintenance radios on?

Yes, I realise this, which is why I asked.
My posts don't seem to be showing up..
EDIT: Post Fixed.
There used to be a list of these stations of the Point Buzz website, however I can't seem to find them anymore.

I really need to get a life.
There's no reason you can't use radios around the park. The FRS radios are everywhere, and getting too crowded to be practical.
As good as wireless phone coverage is, and as much as I like listening to Skywarn idiots chase storms, I'm surprised anyone bothers with radio anymore.

I bring my Amateur Radio HT to the park all the time. I haven't had any problems with it.
There are some repeaters around the area, but I haven't really used any of them. The only one I know of is 146.625 with a PL of 110.9. That's supposedly the one the Skywarn nets run on and what not, and I can easily hit it with my HT from the park.
If you need any help with your license, feel free to contact me.
Also, if you do a search you can find the Ride Operations, Maintanence and CPPD frequencies. Those can be handy.
