.. was at the park this weekend and did some talking to a few important people.. The Town Hall/Museum has gotten permission to put a Facination game or two in the museum. They just have to get around to it..
At least we'll still be able to see our beloved game.
P.S. Also saw Mr. Kinzel giving the guys from Stone Mountain (the producers of the Summer Spectacular) a tour of Johnny Rockets.. Looks like they'll open on time (30th is the target date) the ketchup is out and the salt shakers are full..

Thats really cool, but I really think they need to re-layout that entire museum. I think it's kind of a bad layout
Interesting you should mention this Rob since I was going to post a new topic -
Just got back tonight and had a lengthy discussion with (Joe?) at the museum and he was not 100% that it was even going to happen. He mentioned he had been trying to get one of the Fascination games (working or not) but his efforts to now had been unfruitful? Also, there was some other guy standing there wearing an MF hat and talking like he was a GTTP'er - wasn't you per chance? (around 7:00PM)
Also, I dropped the bug in his ear about getting one or two of the old painted ride signs - he seemed pretty stoked about the idea and was going to talk to the people who know the people who know the people, etc, etc.
Dan was there today wearing his MF hat..
I was talking to the area supervisor back in a break area earlier and brought it up with the blue tag and was told they have already started on getting one. Don't count on it working...

Darn - thought I might sneak in a game or two when no one was looking.
That's great if so (about the Fascination) - glad to hear some CP history will be preserved.
Yeah, the museum layout needs more airtime and stronger laterals. [rim shot]
Say, anyone know when they added that giant clock? Any change they'll ever fire it up to do all of those little things? I wanna see Jesus and Death move around. :)

It would be cool if they could add a game or two. It's better to see them for real than just in pictures. I hope they didn't end up in a giant dumpster.
Jeff, I'm with you on the clock. It looks like it needs some work. Most of the stuff in there could be put back into working order. I think the clock as been there for awhile.
I would like to see them crack the horse open to see if that guy's wife is in it.
Anyway....Back to fascination....
If we could get a few games in there we can charge a buck a role. It could be a nostalgia thing. CP could make a killing on it.
Jeff- ------------- Get with it or die in the process.....
The clock has been there for quite some time now. They have hired several people to try and fix it in the past, but have failed. The original idea was to fix it and place it somewhere around the Midway. Last I heard, they have given up on the clock. The guy who built it made it a bit confusing to operate I suppose.
