All ohio parking pass

Ok, I've got a quick question about the all-ohio pass.

I bought my season pass back at the end of last month down at Kings Island. Didn't get a parking pass because I didn't think I'd be making more than one off-point trip this fall.

Well, now its looking like we are doing 2 if not 3 trips (staying at Bayshore). That's 30 bucks a trip in parking.

So, my question. Would it be possible to get that all-Ohio pass added to my season pass at Cedar Point, or am I S.O.L. and should think about this stuff ahead of time next year.

You can buy them online I know that. But the parking pass is like $70 *** Edited 8/22/2007 2:56:55 PM UTC by factory81***

I'm relatively certain you have to buy the parking pass through the park from which the season pass was purchased. Just like how you can only redeem your certificates at the park where you purchased them.

I figured as much.

One last question, kind of along the same lines.

Does KI do through the mail renewal, so I could send in the form this fall and not have to go do pictures and stuff?

I think DBCP is right, but I would contact the season pass office just to be sure.

As far as planning ahead for next year, be ready to purchase next years pass as soon as they become available. I've heard the early bird deal is going to well worth it! :) I don't think we'll go through the headache we went through last year the parking either.

I have a question that is similar, I am planning on making a trip to Kings Island as well as Geagua Lake this year. I have a Cedar Point Only pass, is it possible to upgrade to a MaxPass, preferably just by paying the difference.

Anyone know?

I believe the answer is yes. You must, however, upgrade it at Cedar Point.

They're always happy to get more of your money... err... upgrade passes. :)

Does anybody know if they are going to stick with the PArking pass being on your season pass or are they going back to window stickers? I bought a parking pass this year for Cedar Point (like Ihave done in the past) but when I tried to use it they told me I couldn't. Although I was quite surprise that my money was refunded on my credit card in less than a week. But The lady at Guest Relations said there had been A LOT of complaining this year about the new policy. I explained that althoough my pass is from Dorney park I visit Cedar Point about 12 times a year. so I get screwed, because now I pay $120 to park instead of $50 for a season pass.

It winds up being a matter of preference. Some people like it on their ID, that way they can take it with them if they travel to the park in another vehicle. Then there's the people who like the parking sticker, because it allows them to have a season pass from another park, but yet still have Cedar Point's parking pass. The best option would be for them to just offer both like they had in the past, but considering how they updated the system to have the passes on IDs this year, I wonder how likely that is to happen.

In 2005 we got our passes from CP and I got the parking pass on my season pass. But we then found out we loss our free parking privileges at Dorney, the parking is included in the season pass. Here is the main problem we had this year. We have a 1 year old, and our passes are from Dorney so we get the "SISTER PARK" perk of ERT. But when you pay the toll to go and park you can ONLY LEAVE AND RETURN ONCE in a day. That is kind of hard, we use to like to take the baby home( back to hotel) to nap in the afternoon. I actually hithced hiked up the road to CP twice while on vacation in June,to take advantage of ERT and so that I didn't wasted my ONE exit and return trip just to get my family
