All it took was fantasy football

It's the end of July/beginning of August. Where the hell have I been? Too long a story.

But despite the fact that it's taken me an extra four months to show, I'm b-a-a-a-a-a-c-k! Softball is going great, split a double-header just tonight with one of the top teams in the upper division.

Missed (skipped?) the annual trip to the Po!nt this year due to my apparent excess girth, which not only keeps me off the TTD, but also MF and Raptor of all things (despite the fact that I'm the same size as I've ever been when I rode MF and Raptor - but that's another story).

Still hoping for a long weekend at Put-In-Bay at some point. It's the best thing this side of Key West, and I'm a HUGE fan of Key West.

So, with that out of the way...

Speaking of which ... I'm thinking about doing a PointBuzz fantasy football league. I mean, I'm only in three leagues right now, and that just doesn't seem like enough. :)

Too bad 15 year-olds can't gamble. :( I'm stuck with free yahoo for now.

No gambling, no fees. Only restrictions are that 1) you have a PointBuzz screen name and 2) that you really want to play (it's no fun when owners abandon their teams or don't try). We'll be using AOL, which is also free, but has more features than Yahoo.

Head to head. If you've played Yahoo, it's essentially the same.

Yay for free. I can't afford to pay for more than the one league I'm in.. Although, if I win like I did last year, I won't have to worry about that ;)

I am partial to Fantasy Football Plus on Yahoo. I like watching my team kick butt in real time with the stat tracker program.

Count me in, though. I'll have to see if I can win 3 leagues. :)

I'd love to do it Pete, and my first reaction was "Great idea!".

But I'm leaving that Wednesday for a week in Vegas, so a trip is unlikely. Not impossible, but unlikely. Will keep you posted.
