All cedarfair parking pass now for sale.

But only at http://www.miadventure.com/spass.shtml

Also, instead of a maxx pass, they now have a pass that includes all parks and water parks for $140.

If you order your pass on the michigans adventure page, you get a free cedarfair jacket as well.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

The platinum pass also includes parking at ALL Cedar Fair parks. Wow. That's pretty impressive. How do the numbers work out compared to this year?

Yea, I just reread the page, and sure enough there is a all par parking pass included with the platinum pass. They finaly got it right.

That's a pretty sweet deal. I've also heard that the Platinum pass will also include the "perks" (like Joe Cool), at every park as well.

So, compared to the 2007 season pass prices:

MaxxPlus pass ($164.95), Joe Cool ($15), and All-Ohio Parking ($75) = $254.95

2008 Platinum pass = $140 and includes Joe Cool and All Park parking

I looks as though the Maxx and MaxxPlus passes will be changed to a single Platinum pass.

Pretty exciting. Hopefully the pricing will be the same for Cedar Point. I would expect it to be, since the price of the MaxxPlus pass was the same at all parks this year.

It's sort of ironic for me. I got the Maxx Pass+ this year because I had never been to Soak City. I wasn't going to spend the money next year for the Plus or the Joe Cool, and now it comes with. Sweet.

That's an awesome deal! I certainly hope the price sticks for when CP begins selling theirs.

Ripcord Crew 2002 / MF Crew 2004

I like this. If only they had gone this route for 2007.

Wow. Very nice!

This is great news for all the Maxx/Combo passholders! Lets hope these prices will be the same at CP & KI!

Where does it say it comes with Joe Cool? I'll believe it when I see it.

It doesn't say that, since that's Michigan's Adventure. But that's what I've heard.

Since MaxxPasses from other parks have been allowed to enjoy the early entry at CP, it would only make sense to just make that a perk of the Platinum pass.

We'll just have to wait until all of the details are out for Cedar Point.

You'd probably get the early entry at Cedar Point like before with the Maxx Pass, but it still wouldn't enable you to enjoy the discounts available with Joe Cool membership and the Joe Cool event ERT.

As a small bit of possible good news, they are still listing GL as one of the parks that the 2008 passes are good at. While this is not confirmation that the park will be open, it is better than GL being missing from the list, which would have confirmed the nail in the coffin.

Why would GL close?

Cedar Fair is taking it back to what it can support. A good water park with some rides. Six Flags made a mistake by just dropping a bunch of coasters in thinking that would allow it to compete with Cedar Point. Cedar Fair is now left to clean up the mess, and without Sea World to draw people in.

Jugga, I agree with you and have been trying to make that point, but the rumors of GLs demise is increasing to the point that there is no logic and only emotion.

I was glad to see X-flight go, the park looks at ton better without. I also agree that scaling back the park is the right answer.

I just thought seeing GL listed in the context of 2008 Platinum Passes was good news, and easily overlooked. (Maybe I should have posted this in one of the many "GL is going downhill, and CF sucks" threads)

I'm glad you at least have a rational thought about it. I agree there seems to be too much emotion in the discussions about Geauga Lake.

I see don't see it as good news because that implies there is this cloud of doom over Geauga Lake and it needs good news.

I never thought they'd do that. Awesome! Thanks Cedar Fair.

And Betsy for bugging Kinzel about it. :)

Thanks Ben. Where did you find that? I don't see it on cedarpoint.com yet.

Edit: Never mind. It's now on the blog.
