All brochures compliant?

CP goes above and beyond with their brochures to be sure that NO ONE has their hands up. (I could have been in the MF shoot except I had to work darn it :()
I recieved tons of brochures from the GOCC and it appears ONLY CP is a stickler for this because there are hands up in ALL the other brochures for other parks. What's up with that?

CP is such a stickler for liability (not a bad thing) that they're trying to set the example of "keep your hands and arms down and inside the car at all times." I don't know if the pictures in the brochures actually serve too much as role models, but then someone that does get their arm broken because they're messing around when the shouldn't be can't come back and say -- but look, it's in the picture, I thought it was okay! Sheesh.

Well, you know,

"Under the Ohio Revised Code, Section 1711.551, riders must obey all warnings and operator instructions regarding amusement park rides and behave in a manner that will not cause or contribute to injury to himself or others. This includes riders behaving in an unruly fashion or who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or other chemical intoxicants. A violation of this law is a misdemeanor." ~2001 park map

In english, Put your hands up, get arrested.
Yeah, right... :)

MF 2K1: 2
I got my brochure yesterday and that was the first thing I noticed. I was scoping out the pic of the MF train going over the Magnum hill and they were all down. Pansies! hehe That is wierd, though, that they're really the only park that does this.

Damn! CedarPoint, you just beat me! I was reading this in school and looking at my brochure (which I bring everywhere) but since I'm paranoid I only post at home.

Funny thing, on my last ride on Millie on opening day, the ops made a specific point to say "dont put your hands up. Keep all hands and legs inside the car at all times". I had never heard an op specifically say "dont put your hands up". Of course, almost no one on the ride paid that particular instruction any attention.

LuvRaptor, I figured that was the case. I was just joshin! :)
Look on page 7 in car 6, row 3 on the left on Magnum. The 'R' from "World Class Thrills" across the page slightly covers the arms up.
