Air raid / weather siren?

I stick with the accuweather add-on for FireFox. I used to have weather bug, but I got so tired of it popping up asking me to sign up for some piece of crap or another that I finally got rid of it.

Did you really get rid of it though? It's still there, stealingZ ur megahutz.

I'm not much of a fan of Accuweather either. I stick to WeatherUnderground and weather.gov/official NOAA websites.

Then there's always gkrellweather :)

I just wanted the tool-bar add-on to FF, and I think the only one was the accu-weather one.

And yes, I got rid of it. New laptop at work cleaned up that one, and at home, I made sure it was gone. (New hard-drives tend to do that.)

Ben, thanks for mentioning gkrellweather. I just installed Feisty Fawn on my main computer (dual booting with Vista). And I'm always looking for new Linux weather apps. I already use the built in tray app and the goodWeather gdesklet.

I can say that since Friday, I haven't used Vista once...

No, if it were Digg, we'd be talking about how Microsoft sucks, Apple fan boys suck, Linux rules, the iPhone sucks (before it came out), an digging down comments you disagree with instead of comments that are noise.

In Norton, ours goes off every Wednesday and Saturday. I don't know why, because in the past 100 years, we haven't gotten hit by a tornado.
