Ah , I want the front...

On Millenium Force they dont allow you to wait for the seat you want(well i havent been there since the opening year i dont know if this has changed). Many were dissapointed since they would wait as long as possible for that front row seat. Do you think that you will be able to select your own seat on Top Thrill Dragster? If so how long will you be willing to wait for the front? I really hope you have the option to wait for the front since i live in Boston and will not get many rides on it i neeeeed the best experience possible.

Yes, you are allowed to wait for the front or back seat on MF.

and I think you will be able to pick your own seat on TDD :)

And you thought bugs in the face were cool at 92 MPH?;)

I have no inside source about this, but it would make sense to limit row queues for this ride. I never mind tacking another 20 minutes to my queue time to enjoy the front row (especially on my initial ride) and if I have to try and let people cut me, I will! :)

(waiting)

Do you think even in the first season you will be able to wait. Since with Millenium Force you werent allowed to wait for your seat in its first season.

The front is very popular on Xcelerator. Either that or the GP has an IQ of 10. The front car queue is about 1 hour longer than the normal queue.
...which is almost always less than a half hour, itself. I always thought of the front on Xcel as the one row that doesn't stink, and I genuinely enjoyed it.

But also remember, Xcelerator, in current operation, is pulling perhaps 500 people per hour, half of what it could do with a bit of operational tweaking. Cedar Point, with its massive capacity, should have few problems in doubling that figure, and possibly close to tripling it. Future long waits for TTD should indicate more the popularity of the ride, rather than lousy capacity.

I've noticed times decreasing. The caoacity is now at about 650-700pph between breakdowns, well, at least if all seats woul be filled. But the back car line is never usually over 30 minutes , and the front car line 70 minutes. Except during halloween haunt when the park sells out with all elegible riders (no one under 52"). Not only is it "do not pull your lap bar down" slowing down launches, but the time spent with the station empty. Theres too long of a delay between when the train goes over the top hat and when the next train comes in. But the 6 ride attendnts just fly while checking the restraints. An unload station would help. I doubt they're going to run 6 trains everyday on dragster.
There is nothing i like more than a mouth full of Muckleheads!!!! MMMMMMMMMMM! Yum!

If there's bugs on your shirt, you had a good ride.

Andre Bernier from fox 8 here in Cleveland refers to them as Muckleheads I thought?? If not I must be going deaf from all those screams from people behind me.

I am sorry (and you can disagree with me all you want) but waiting in line 30-45 mins extra for the front seat on a busy day at MF is not worth it at all the back is better anyway. And that is true on any ride with the exception of Wicked twister where the front is better. But that is the cool part about working there you can get into the park even before joe cool members can and be first in line so I can ride front seat with no wait. With this ride though, depending on the speed that it goes over the tophat the front might be the same boost as teh back especially since the trains are shorter.

I hope you can wait for the front (obviously) but I think I see a problem. If they are going to load two trains simultaneously in the same station, the second train’s front will be in the middle. How are they going to have a one-hour-wait line in the middle?
The only solution I see would be to have seperate entrances for each train.

From 420 feet up, no one can hear you scream...

I like the front seat of any coaster but I will not wait for an hour just to ride it, the front of TTD will be neat however I will just be happy to ride it!
