Aerial Photos...

does anyone know where i can find some good, high quality aerial photos of Cedar Point? i'm looking for preferably post-TTD pics that show the whole park but show alot of good detail on the whole park as well. If anyone knows of any pics like this, hook it up. Thanks.

Here is a link to try. I think his pictures are terrific. Once you open the page, scroll down to where it says Cedar Point Amusment Park, Sandusky, Ohio above a picture of the park. Then CLICK TO SEE MORE (on the picture).

your link works fine, and you are right, those are some of the best pictures of cedar point that i've ever seen! I think that Cedar Point should buy some of his work to sell as nice pictures in the Cedar Point gift shops.

I like the Point of Cedars Josh..

You're in luck Metalhead... I just emailed about 40 aerial pictures to Walt for the off-season. They're from August this year, so that makes them post-TTD.

There is always the overhead black and white aerial photo that is about 12 megs. It was taken April of 2001. Nearly crashes my computer ever time I load it. Can't pull it off with this equipment. :)

Though the detail is like none other considering that it's original file was of Sandusky. I wonder how a more recent shot is obtainable.

Had that been on a sunny day then those pictures would have been perfect. If you want to see some of my better work, I can email some pictures to you if you want.

i got some great pictures of Cedar Point from the sky from Virtual Midway last year, Man i loved that site, but i have about 20 or so pictures, alot include TTD so email me @ Pointfansince1870@yahoo.com

I'd love to see any pics of CP that Top Thrill Dragster (and anyone else, for that matter :) wants to share.

Please keep in mind that I am used to excellent quality electronic images and videos and will base my opinion of your shot on that. I'll forward the good to excellent ones to my Brother, who is a Photog Geek (and one that I'm teaching to love CP).

I think we're all just use to a different method still. This system is easier to find pictures, you just have to know where to look if that makes any sense.
