Some friends of ours have a couple of their friends visiting from KC and the 13 year old is a real budding enthusiast but with no experience outside of WoF and now KI last Sunday. He had no interest in Vortex and was indifferent about Invertigo so I liked him right away. 😂
They go back home Saturday and we will be meeting the group up at CP Friday, they are all CP virgins except for one that we took last year. Any suggestions for a plan of attack? My initial thought was a build up to SV, TTD, MF and Maverick however given the downtime those tend to have and this is his only day there it is kind of risky to wait until later in the day. Probably leave the front of park coasters for last as the lines will be shorter and my boys probably won’t last past 5 if we start at 10. I can’t get them in for early entry becuase they all have promotional tickets and not bring-a-friend.
Millennium Force and Top Thrill Dragster first. Ride the 2 biggest right off the bat, then the rest should be easy. I took my 9 year old son last summer for the first time and that's what I did. He was a little nervous at first but after he got those 2 monsters out of the way, he knew he had nothing to worry about. It worked too. He had a blast. He wasn't even nervous getting on Windseeker which, to be honest, scared the crap out of me.
