Advice to Cedar Point on Shoot the Rapids...

From my understanding the water levels and how wet you get on this ride can be controlled. That's all great, but I highly suggest that CP should just keep the water levels at non-soaking at all times. I can guarantee the ridership would be much better than with the ride being a soaker. Flumes are not meant to get you soaked. We have 2 soakers and even in 90+ temps people still don't want to get soaked. Those people who do will go ride Snake River Falls and Thunder Canyon.

Shoot the Rapids looks awesome and should be a great addition to CP, but in my opinion, if the ride was a non-soaker it would be a bigger success and many would enjoy it more. It would be something different to the lineup of water rides.

Thanks for reading.:)

While I do enjoy a good soaking, I agree with your point that we already have two water rides that get you plenty soaked. It would be nice to have something that you get a little wet on but not that wet.

1: Why did you start a new thread just to say what has been said numerous times in the other thread?

2: Writing the park directly would be more effective to your cause instead here on PointBuzz.
