Addons using payment plan after you already bought tickets

My friend just bought gold passes for next year for his family with the payment plan. Now he decided the meal plan isn't a bad idea, but it doesn't seem to allow him to add it with payment plan options. I've done mine the last 3 years with the payment plan, but added everything right at the time of purchase.

Does anyone know if it's possible to do any addons using the payment plan AFTER you've already bought the passes, or is it only a one time option?

I don’t think it is possible to do that on the website as your your friend experienced. I suggest he call the park and ask if the transaction can be modified by staff and updated. Maybe it can be cancelled and redone. If not, unlike the Gold passes, the dinning plans are not effective until next May so he can start his own savings plan for them as he has 8 months.
