Ad blitz has begun

Good Morning all.Im sure this wont last long but just curious if anyone has seen or heard Cedar Points ad that are now running.I am in the Detroit area and heard the first one this afternoon over the radio station.Just curious if anyone has seen any television spots and are they running the same ones as last year?

I don't know if they are the same as last year because I didn't see many, but there was one I saw last night in Grand Rapids that highlighted the biggies...it also had some comments from guests....in fact thinking about it, the ones that were last year were a kid and his dad walking around saying "Look Millenium Force"....and "Look Magnum" and then they just stopped and stared in awe at the Dragster....anyway, that's what I saw

I've seen this summer's ad two times on TV. It features TTD, MF, WT and other rides. It really emphaisizes the size of TTD. Lots of cool angles and shots. I can't freakin' wait.

We'll be in town multiple times this summer, running through the park and parting it up at night!!

I've seen the new ad on TV. I love the "Absolutely Amazing" slogan. It's perfect. My daughter and I actually taped last fall at CP to possibly be in the commercials this summer. Looks like we weren't picked. Bummer... but it was fun!

Yep!,

I saw one on channel 7 (detroit) yesterday during the noon newscast. It showed a lot of ttd,mf,mag,and raptor.

I'm in the commercial... on the coaster.. but it's probably a big blur.

If the ad camgaign is "Absolutely Amazing" then it's the same slogan as last year.

It's a good choice...I wonder if they will hold onto this one for a few years like they did with "Get to the Point" and others like it. Prior to this year, I don't think there has been a repeat slogan is quite a few years.

I saw the comercial several times last night here in the Lansing area. I thought it was a pretty good ad. Realy makes me want to ride some coasters.

Does CP ever run ads in the Western PA area? I never see/hear them around here.

The "Absolutly Amazing" slogan looks to be in use for 2004 also. I also saw one on the evening news on channel 7. I don't remember many of their ads but I seen a magazine ad and the commercial and they both feature quotes from guest. I'm sure they used them in many ways before but throughout the commercial on TV they showed clips of moms saying the park is great for family's or the park is better than ever. This is a great way to get families out to the park. Only problem I have with this is the lines on the coasters this year.

I see them in Erie, PA all the time during the season, not yet in 2004 though.

Beer and golf Thursday thru Monday, Cedar Point & beer, Tuesday and Wednesday.

I live near Cleveland, OH and have seen the ads many times around 8:30 am on Fox 8 in the Morning, and during the Today Show channel 3.
