Actual Length?

Does anybody know the actual length of the structure itself? How long is the track? Thanks

I think you can get the actual length of the structure someplace.  For the track length, Here is some really crude math that probably is totally wrong.  The length of track travelled 2,700feet. Provided by cedarpoint.com.  Three shots forward  so I take 2700/3 and get 900feet.  then there is two shots backward to account for.  900/2 and I get a track length of 450 feet.
So my answer is 450 feet of track
However, right now, instinct is telling me, I goofed something up in my thinking.

However each spike is at least 215 so that means your station/launch area is 20 feet. :)

It only travels the entire length of the track 3 times. From the top after the first launch, up the back spike. Then from the back spike to the front, then back again. the point where it first launches to the top spike and the point after the final launch back into the station could be added together as "1 time."

However, one spot on the train does not travel the entire true length of the course. To get the length, we would have to add the length of the train to each time.

2700/4=675+ length of rest of the train

I am guesstimating that the cars are 9 feet long which equals a 72 foot train

~~750 feet is my guess.

The total trackage of each tower will probably be around 250 feet, including the twist and the bend up to vertical, leaving about another 250 feet for the station and launch area.

Joe, I kindd of noticed that 20 feet. That is why I second guessed my thought process. I figured it doesn't hurt to put in my 2 cents though.  However each tower does not originate from the ground.  I'm guessing the bottom of the rack is about 10 feet off the ground maybe 20.  That buys more feet feet for the launch area, however not enough. Even looking at the picture it looks like it is a 200-300 foot launch area like your math shows.  I think you are much closer and probably correct than my crude math.:)

well 6*2=12/3=4+5=9*1=9+11=20

SO the actual length of the track is......

Dunno..

Riiiiiiiiiight...
