Actors seen in person

Kind of a goofy topic, but what the hell. This would be something I think employees would have better luck discussing. Have there, over the last two years, been any actors that have flown out from California and have visited our beautiful amusement park. The times I've gone, I never have seen any actors there. I wonder if they have their own day, or whether they just come on a regular funday admission. Obviously, they would probably wear sunglasses to conceal identity, but one never knows. I could see somebody like George Clooney riding coasters all day and loving it.

Well I couldn't really tell you about actors, or about people flying from California for a day, but I will say that when I was a sup at the BBQ, Orel Hershiser ate there and also Lenny Kravitz ate at the stand for lunch and dinner one day. Many of the Indians and the other pro athletes come periodically through the year. In fact, one of my green tags rode the Raptor with Jim Thome and was standing next to him when he got the call that he was selected for the All Star Game! (I am thinking that it must have been the summer of 1997). As far as the sunglasses thing, I do know that certain celebrities/athletes have escorts through the park. I know that Orel was walking around with a manager from Park Op, who he bought lunch for as well as his family!

I've seen Snoopy.

How rude! Oh Well, maybe you'll see an actor at CP that will talk to you. I would love it if I met an actor there. My first inclination would be to give him a chronological timeline of the coasters (that I remember) in the park. And of course, the next question would be whether or not they have heard of ACE and thought about joining.

Oh, I wouldn't be suprised. I'll bet he's an avid coaster rider like all of us. I think I should have brought this topic up in the employee lounge section. I think the employees probably would have better odds on seeing some walking the park. Maybe I will open this topic up there too and see what some of them have to say. Or can that option not be done. I really don't know

Yes, I rode ID with Kid Rock closing weekend (not in the same seat) and he was at the next table in TGI Friday's earlier in the season. I didn't really approach him or anything because I learned from my radio days that celebrities are genrally real people overwhelmed by their success or too high on themselves to acknowledge you. Still, he seemed to say be friendly toward people.
