While I was at the park earlier today I was eating at coasters and an ambulance came flying by and stopped right by the entrance of Millinium Force. Coincidentally Millinium Force was stopped 3/4 up the lift hill. I'm not sure what happened but they brought out a stretcher and walked up the exit path. Since 2pm, Millinium Force hasn't been running, and the people at the front of the que say that it is down for mechanical reasons. I really don't beleive them because of what I saw earlier. Does anyone who was at the park today know what happened?
Go State
It went down for mechanical reasons...that is all...It's entirely true...Why would they lie to you xD....Ugh...it hasn't even been 24 hours and I bet rumors are ganna start flying around...
^Hopefully it was a clean cut...don't want splatters all over the catchcar ;)
But no...it was down mechanical...Everyone here knows the CP policies on employees so I can't go in depth nor do I really care to...but...it went down mechanical...ect...The stretcher & everything was probably as a precaution or whatever...Not sure on that...I just know it broke & whatnot...Think when maggie collided years ago, EMS was all over and whatnot and going crazy over a guy with asthma (even though yes it can be serious)...I'm sure if a normal person (we'd love getting stuck at the top of millie, don't lie haha) got stuck at the top of millie and had to slowly coast the rest of the way I'm sure someone would flip ****
I was there today and watched from Iron Dragon. Shot this photo, but it seemed like a typical mechanical issue.
Wouldn't be too surprising if it went down mechanical with a loaded train stuck on the lift, and someone stuck had a minor freakout. That would explain being down mechanical, and them calling the paramedics over.

While I do not wish to be stuck on a lift hill with an injured/panicked rider... I do think it would be amazing to be stuck on M-Force's lift hill for a while (especially on the bay-side)!
I got stuck on Gemini once for about 20 minutes...and that was a lot of fun!
Or you know... a guest might have passed out in the queues. Just throwing that out there.

Unless I have to pee, of course.

Have you ever gotten stuck on MF's lift? I can assure you, it's NOT comfortable-that angle gets VERY uncomfortable very quickly.
In reading this thread, I was just about to type what Jax said. That angle is no fun at all.
The path you tread is narrow, and the drop is sheer and very high.
I got stuck on it once for about 10 minutes. I thought it was great, actually. I actually would not want a walk-down (or elevator down), but it was fun being up there for 10-15 minutes. I guess I'm weird.

Too bad you couldn't subject your poor, defenseless coasterphobe students to that one! ;)

For me, there was also a very awkward case of "Dad or Date?" in the seats behind us, so that may have added to my desire to get the show on the road.
We did get an extra ride without getting out for our hardship, with the elusive stretch from station to station, so it wasn't all bad...

I spent some time about 3/4 of the way of the lift hill at about 1:30 AM last year after a Halloweekends Saturday. Front seat, bay side. Was up there about 25 minutes because some tool popped his seat belt.It was actually rather nice... the wind held off and it wasent overly cold. Since we were the last train of the night they pushed us through for a second ride afterwards as well.
Girl: "l want to ride that yellow one again... Twisted Wicker"
Me: "It's a roller coaster, not a broken clothes hamper."
