Someone please tell me why you cannot use your SP for AAA day. I think if you pay for it you *should* get to use it.

Sorry guys.

it is a special day it would be like being to fly over christmas for the same price as the off season. Or even using your season pass on the basket day

Your, and my season pass is good for the normal season that starts on May 13th. I don't think because I have a season pass that I should be able to go May 6th when the basket people bought out the park, or on the AAA day,do you?

No, I think that you still have to be a AAA member, but you shouldn't have to pay if you already did. Same with basket day. You still have to work for them (or whatever), but you shouldn't have to pay. I guess I should just be happy with the fact that the tickets are not full price. I will just have to sit this one out. Oh well. You guys can atleast see where I am coming from?

The season pass covers "public" operating days. As it says when you get the pass, CP reserves the right to be closed to the public for private events. That covers the basket day and even AAA day since technically it is a private event for "members" even though I bought non member tickets.

Pardon my lack of understanding...

What is meant by "basket day" or "basket people?"

I would appreciate some insight.

The Longeberger Basket Co., who makes hand-made (expensive) baskets, has purchased a "buy-out" of the park, meaning they get exclusive use of the park on May 6 for their employees and families.

Hope that helps.

Jeff--forgive me if this has been asked before, but it seems to follow this thread. Longeberger buy-out is Saturday, May 6. Ohio AAA day is Saturday, May 7. Do you know who bought out the park on Saturday, May 13?
