Against my better judgement (and checkbook balance) I got my 3 tiks this morning for AAA Day. I have sort of a problem with the whole concept. I can understand from CPs view to make all the $$ they can - people worldwide are going to be chomping at the bit to ride MF why not make some extra $$ due to that---BUT---
The basket people get 1st dibs on MF on the 6th-then AAA people on the 7th (and basket people too that day???) the official Media Day isnt until the 11th--
what is CP thinking?
Shouldnt they have Media Day on the 4th or 5th?
I gave in and bought tiks for AAA day even though I dished out well over $200.00 last year for season passes and a parking pass for this year-
I had assumed buying tiks for CP for me would be history....guess not!
Does anyone know if the ENTIRE park is open on this day and if parking passes will be valid or do I have to pay for parking too????
c yas on the 7th!

Welcome back Raptor riders-how was your flight??
I'd go, but I already have tickets for Nine Inch Nails in Pittsburgh that day. 4th row slightly left-of-center -- GREAT seats. Cost me $51 a pop, though, after TicketMaster'$ $ervice Charge$.
I'll be at the Point sometime in May, and also at CoasterMania, so it won't KILL me to miss the AAA day. I'd LIKE to go, though.
Let's see, concert starts at 8, ~3 hours from Cedar Point to Pgh. Hmmm... ;)
Exactly why I'm not going to see them in Cleveland (that and a mediocre double album).
The park will be open as it would any other day, only it's for AAA members only.

Origionally, AAA was only going to sell these tickets for the 7th to it's employees and ticket and travel agency owners. So be glad that they changed their minds and opened it up to AAA members even though you can't use your season pass.

Are these tickets available to any AAA Member of only Ohio AAA members. That official site leads you to believe it's only for Ohio members.
The site indeed indicates that the day if for Ohio AAA members only. Which, in a word, sucks. As a long-time Michigan AAA member, this is very frustrating. I live closer to CP than many people in Ohio.
How can I get a couple of these tickets?
Well I'm a member in Pennsylvania so I made the trip to Ohio today to get tickets. So I guess its just not for Ohio members.
so exactly or roughly how many tickets are going to be sold for this b/c i want 3 of them and my mom is going tommarow mornign to get them and i am wondering if im to late

Well,I'm not a member of AAA and I just got tickets. I had to pay a massive 22.50 instead of 22 though...
