A story when I was at DisneyWorld (CP Related)

This past January I spent a week in Orlando to get my park fix. I was in Epcot at Innoventions when I was asked where I was from by an employee (CM). When I told him that I was from Cleveland, his just stopped and said, "Ahhh Cedar Point. I really want to get there one day." It was actually the day they released the info on Top Thrill Dragster and I told him that CP had just announced their new ride. He said, "What crazy thing are they building now?"

I told him and he was very impressed.

So I guess to sum it up, be grateful that we have one of the best parks in the world. For someone that lives/works in Disney/Orlando to be in awe of Cedar Point lets you know not to take it for granted that we are very fortunate to have CP.

I never take Cedar Point for granted. It is one of the best parks in the world and I think everyone here appreciates what Cedar Fair does for us.

Feel the Beat

I've been proud of Cedar Point from the first time I ever went there as a kid. I talked about it all the time then and that hasn't changed. I have visited some other parks that have been really really nice and still, I am also so happy to come home to CP.

We couldn't ask for much more here in Ohio. I always said I should work in their PR department. I give them constant free PR all the time anyway.

Cedar Point is closed for the season. Reason? Freezin!

I know what you mean. My wife & I were down at Disney September 22-28, 2002, on our honeymoon. People there have heard of Cedar Point. We met employees & guests of Disney that have heard of Cedar Point. There was this young lady who worked at the Magic Kingdom. She used to live here in the Cleveland area. She remembers Cedar Point & was actually planning on visiting the park in 2003. I bet she will definately make the trip from Florida now, just for TTD alone. My wife & I like Disney a lot too, but, Cedar Point will always be #1 in our book.
I love going to DisneyWorld, and IOA was great too, but nothing compares to CP. I am just happy to be there.

To be thinking about Cedar Point while at another park says a lot.

My first visit to CP was when I was 15. The Gemini and Corkscrew were the big deals then. In 1989, I finally convinced my husband that we should go to CP. That was the year of the Magnum. I couldn't believe how much had changed and how much had remained the same. I was so impressed with the place! I've been coming every year since then and this will be the 2nd year as a season pass holder. My daughter is just as nuts about CP as I am. We just can't get enough of the place! Whenever we're out and about meeting new people, CP usually comes up. If we had a nickel for every time CP gets mentioned in a conversation, we'd be rich!!

2 combo season passes-$270, parking pass-$30, CP memories with my daughter-priceless!!!
