I know this will sound like a dumb question, but does anyone know where all, inside the park, has free wifi?
In June my family makes our annual trip to the point, and this year, we have android phones. we have a dataplan, but try not to use data unless needed so it doesn't eat up our gigs and if you need to send a picture message, it would require either data or wifi. This past year, a relative had us get a gift for his nephew at Dinosaur's Alive's giftshop and I had to send him a couple pics so he could choose.
I know Doughnut Time has free wifi, does anywhere else in the park (just so I know if I would need it)?
thanks for the reply, I know all of the hotels have wifi, I was mainly curious about in the park itself
Donut time is the only location in the park with WiFi, but in addition to the hotels, the marina store also has WiFi. It works both outside the store on the dockside seating and inside the store where there is seating in a little cafe area.

Someday in the not too distant future we will read this thread and laugh at the idea of wifi being a sparse commodity.

Why don't they have it set up already is my question.... Even my small time college has wifi blasted to every corner of campus.
Better question is.... Would it be faster then the horribly bottle necked 3g/4g connections?
Simple solution, have Verizon and 4G. While it my not always be the case, at least since I have had 4g, I have never had any service issues at the point.
Same here, Verizon 4G rocks. Fast and reliable, and its surprised me how wide spread the coverage is.

Sometime in the near future we will all look at this thread and reminisce of the time when wifi could be had for free.

I tried streaming with both AT&T and Verizon 4G at the GateKeeper announcement, and they both sucked. :) Extenuating circumstance, I know.

Not everyone.
Promoter of fog.
Verizon's 4G is the only way I've been able to move data on those Halloweekends Saturdays. Although I'm curious how much of it has to do with the added bandwidth, and how much has to do with lots of people just not having 4G phones yet.
