A new home for the young maid of Schwabia..

Article in the Sandusky Register at http://www.sanduskyregister.com states that the lady form the now removed ride will be placed in Sandusky's Museum of Carousel Art and History.

It's not the park but at least she's not gone forever..

Thanks to Jen from Park Op's for the scoop.

There are 24 hours in a day, and 24 beers in a case. Coincidence?

Hey, that's pretty spiffy. I may have to pay her a visit some time.

No wonder they had to remove Schawbia! Too much exposure! Not a good thing for a male to look at while riding. What thoughts would go through his mind...

It's nice to see that she's at least staying in Sandusky and not being thrown out.

It is great to see hear not end up in the infamous Cedar Point trash heap. I am friends with the Merry-go-round Museum's manager. On my advise she contacted the park about retreiving the lady.

They are having a special display this year about Ohio Amusement Parks... I have many Cedar Point artifacts that I loaned to the museum for the display. There will also be presentations given about amusement park's.

Also the rest of the Schawb. is on the market for sale. Those interested can contact Dick Collingwood in the CP purchasing department.
