A Letter From Monty...

After filling out the contact form on CP's website about my visit to the Point, I was a little dissapointed I never got a reply. Low and behold on Friday a letter arrived in the mail.

I quickly ripped it out of my mother's hands and read as fast as I could. It's quite possibly the best letter I've ever gotten and I can't wait to visit he Point again in the near future.

I am very impressed with Cedar Point and their customer service/guest relations. No matter how much I get bashed on the other site that I work for, I now am in love with Cedar Point and how they treat their guests.

Tanner, are you going to tell us why you wrote a letter to CP, and what their reply said?

Well I was hoping to point out the customer service at CP and how nice it is, and stop from saying what I wrote about and what the letter said.

The comments I sent in were about TTD and it's downtime while I was at the park and the compensation we received that we never got to use as it was down the following day we were there. We were actually on the ride in the station when it broke down.

His letter was saying he was sorry and that they were working to get the ride as reliable as possible. From there I'm not going to go on about what the letter included as people may get ideas.

What kind of Ideas are you implying the general public members of Pointbuzz are going to do? Rush to Cedar Point's website and ask for letters?

Perhaps, some people in this world would do that. I'm not worried about the letters just what was contained in the letter.
then why would u even bring this up and not tell what was so exciting?
Ok I guess we can forget this thread.

The point was to show that the customer service at CP cares about it's customers and making them happy, which can't be said at other parks. At other parks I would be shunned away and not receive an email, let alone a letter.

Then, perhaps the "bait and switch" topic title should be changed to a more appropriate name such as "Cedar Point's Positive Customer Service."
I may have an idea *what* was in the letter, but I would have never started this topic if you weren't willing to tell anyone what it was about...

Did you seriously think that no one would be interested in the letter itself?

Some people have no common sense...

You know, Tanner, I suggest you tell us since you brought it up. I don't even know why you told us all that info, but since you gave us this:

No real need to get excited over a form letter.
I recieved a letter from Bill Spehn last year good for Freeway on TTD for 4 people. That may be what was in his letter. By the way, I did use that letter 2 weeks ago when I went to CP (My dad and I used 2 and 2 instead of 4 at once).
Yes, some may think it's not exciting, but try sending a letter, let alone TALK to any Six Flags adminstrive worker, even Guest Services. They don't care about your opinion on ANYTHING.
Looks like I won't be able to sleep tonight now, thanks Tanner.

What a waste of time. Please don't take up the reader's time by posting meaningless babble unless you actually have something to say. *grr*

Seriously, I mean, Jeff's right. You entice people with your title which does not explain the meaning of the thread. Then you want people to forget about it?

I was hoping that you would just read the contents of the letter to make people happy, but nope. I mean, what is someone going to do with words on a page?
