A Kinzel Comment

Looking through the rides section of this site and the MF page I noticed that Mr. Kinzel said: "We didn't want to build another Magnum." Did he mean this in a good or bad sense. The way I preceived it, he means that they didn't want a coaster that delivers a ride like Magnum but better, but instead a coaster that is taller than Magnum but delivers a totally different expirience making both coaster's completely different (ride wise) from each other. Am I right or wrong on this?

I dont know seems you can take that either way. You can take it as before they started building they were going to make sure it wasnt another Magnum and its not, or you can take it as, after it was built they feel like its a Magnum on steroids.

The more you ride it, the more you want it!

I'm pretty sure he means that they wanted to make a ride with a very tall first hill that delivers a very different ride from Magnum.
To put it another way:

To build another Magnum would have been silly. What's the point in building two rides that are essentially the same? Millennium Force is deliberately unlike Magnum for the same reason that you wouldn't see them build another inverted coaster right across from Raptor.

It's a good bet that he didn't mean "We don't want to build another fiasco like Magnum."

The Magnum was the ride that essentially put C.P. on the map (to greater sucess). It has been a very popular ride. And now going into its eleventh season, it is still ranked high in coaster polls. So anything that Kinzel would have to say about the Magnum should be taken in a positive note, not a negative one. And since he is the president, it's unlikely that he would ever say anything about C.P. to be taken as a negative statement.
