A good thing about the long lines on Millennium Fo

Do you guys think that it will open up shorter line ups for other big rides such as: Magnum, Mantis, Mean Streak, Raptor?

Well, seeing that most of them are world calss coasters, MF might or might not. Depnds on the crowds. Opening day might be a good one to ride those

personally i think that MF will just draw a bigger crowd.. rather than make the other lines shorter

See, that's my plan for Sunday...everyone is gonna turn left at that Midway intersection by PT and Corkscrew, and I'm gonna turn right and ride MAGNUM!

I myself, have never been to CP on opening day, and I really dont know what to expect! Usually I go during the week, like on a Tuesday because of how long lines are on weekends. So I am thinking that CP is going to be packed for 3 reasons, 1. Opening day, 2. Opening day with the biggest and best coater debuting, and 3. Being a Saturday. Anyone whos been there on an opening day with a ride debuting, I would like to hear some feedback on how the crowd is that day.

its kinda wierd,last year it was buisy but the year b4 it wasent so bad,i guss it really depends on the weather.rain or shine ill be there opening day.

I remember when power tower first debuted. The line was not any longer than the other lines. Yeah, I know it is not a roller coaster but how could you miss that thing. It was commercialized(sp!) very well and in my town of Detroit, everyone who talked about Cedar Point, talked about Power Tower. Well When I went, it was about May 20th or somewhere around there and the line was very short. About 30 minute wait. I don't think everyone will just rush to Millennium Force. Even though it is new, it's not something I am going to ride first and I don't think a lot of other people will ride it first either. Now that is excluding opening day. I don't know how it will be opening day.
Everyone has their fovorites and I don't think everyone will just forget them and head over to Millennium Force.
